I'd be no help at all. I finished losing my weight mid-way through 2018. I only stick around here because y'all don't mind having someone in maintenance play along. It's the same book, just a different chapter. I hope you join me sooner or later, and you WILL if you want to.

Ultimate Goal Weight: not yet sure. I'm more interested size than weight. I store water like a camel and even at my age (female over 50) put on muscle fast. My ultimate goal is a 24 inch waist, the one I used to have long, long ago.

I am the worldβs slowest loser. I lose a half pound a week at best. Itβs hard to hang in there but Iβve lost almost 7 pounds since January. It does add up, however painfully slow. I am cutting my carbs way down for the month of March to see if that moves things along any faster.4 -

Yeah... Was away for a long weekend. Skiing The food wasnβt the problem, more the good wine.
The good thing though, according to my scale, my muscle mass has increased by almost 2kg while my body fat decreased by almost the same amount!

I have found, for me, that eating an earlier dinner and having a later breakfast (I combine breakfast and lunch), turns the fat burning dial to the "on" setting. Even just an extra hour or two of nighttime fasting makes a difference. I am going to try this strategy again and do it the days I can. I will also continue with having most of my meals at home (limit take-out) and limit alcohol (simply because the liver is responsible for burning fat and it just can't do that if it's busy processing alcohol).5

You will get there. Stay the course, keep doing what you need to and the 199 will appear.4
