Today I felt a burst of exercise-induced exhilaration & energy. It's been years since I last felt that, forgot how darn good it is!21

Miracle of miracles!!! Not one pound gained... I had to step on the scale again just to verify. Perhaps because I didn't eat dinner to make up for eating enough for 2 and a half people of 4'11" female stature of my whole day budget of calories? Maybe I increased my metabolism? I thought fo sho I'd be setback a day in my weightloss journey... Miracle of miracles!!!11

Last week I hit at least 77778 steps. Yes i did the last 60 or so after getting ready for bed just to hit that number.

My significant other and I joined a gym together17

Down a belt loop.
Also, did some exercise today without having a shortness of breath and my chest did not feel like it was gong to explode. Nor did I hack up a part of my lung. Think I may have turned a corner with whatever the hell it was I had.

I've always been fat even when I was a little kid. I didn't play much with other kids because I couldn't do things like monkey bars.
On Sunday, for the first time in my whole life, I was able to hold on to a bar and just hang for a bit.
I've got so much progress in my physical fitness and strength lately.
Every year at the faire there's a booth where you win a prize if you can dangle for 2 minutes. Almost nobody ever succeeds. I'm gonna win it one year just watch.38 -
Just bought new pants and since mid December I’ve gone from a 52 to a 44! And I was able to jog for 25 minutes today- jog 10, walk 5, jogged last 15! The NSV seem to come in bunches. None for a little bit then BAM! A bunch at once lol26

... I took off my compression pants and noticed that I have calf definition... I've been chasing that goal for YEARS and haven't been able to get defined calf muscles now matter how low my weight was... 20k steps per day is paying off in more ways than just having well behaved dogs...25

Today, I managed to bike for 89 minutes with a sprained ankle and 3 broken toes.18

I was trying on dresses today. Although I have been able to fit into medium recently, the size medium at this particular store looked really small. So I picked up both medium and large to try on. I tied one of the sizes and felt that it was slightly big. So I took it off to try the medium and guess what. I was wearing a medium and thought it was a large. 😂24

I had to get some new pants for work. I went down to a size 36. I've been wearing 40s for probably the last 20 years or so.20

Today I did a time trial 5K, and ran the fastest 5K I’ve run in well over 7 years.27
-
I ran 6.65 miles this morning in one hour and eight minutes.25

Today, I had 2 dinner meetings back to back after work so skipped lunch to accommodate since I know the 1st meeting almost always has pizza. I had indulged in 2 thin crust slices and lots of water. 2nd one I passed on the beckoning rich creamy pasta and filled up on hot tea but savored a very small portion 1/4 cup of ice cream on one small cookie. I was well within my calorie budget and didn't eat all my exercise calories. I felt like I participated, enjoyed, but not deprived nor over indulged. I feel like I'm getting the hang of eating within my calorie budget without depriving nor over indulging but enjoying life.20

I have only told 3 people I work with that I am dieting. Today, someone I don't speak to often asked me how much weight I had lost because he could see it in my face. I was so ridiculously happy and that definitely made my night!28

I guess this is technically a scale victory, but I'm officially the lowest I've ever weighed as an adult. I have gone below my HS graduation weight, and I keep moving into new weight territory.
Also, almost all of my pants are too big.29 -
Proved my 63 minute 10k wasn't a fluke22

Worked out 6 of the 8 days I was on vacay in Hawaii. Limited my grown up juice intake and did a 12 mile hike which involved climbing down and back up a rock wall.....amaze balls.

Randomly picked up a pair of jean leggings from the thrift shop because they were cute and more importantly they were fifty cents. Didn’t understand the size, thought it said size OR. Finally figured out it’s a size 0R, like zero regular. Don’t really understand how I can fit into a size 0, even in stretchy jeans, when I’m usually an 8, but I’m taking it.

"You have the blood pressure of a teenager!" said the nurse yesterday at my check-up.26

I had a happy blood pressure check as well when I gave blood. 104/78. That’s a lot genetics, though at my highest weight I definitely had a 130/90 read one checkup. If I had my dad’s blood pressure I probably would have had more issues, but fortunately I got my mom’s side of the family on that.9 -
In the past month I have walked over 10,000 steps a day, missing only 3 days!34
-
My rings are starting to get loose!23
-
Set a PR in the pool today; 1 mile in 39:33. Up through last month, I had never been under a 40 minute mile. I have swam 4 times this month and was under 40 minutes 3 of those times.17
-
On a rainy day today, I walked an extra 65 minutes just to eat one Trader Joe's dark chocolate sunflower seeds butter cup and be under my calorie budget while not eating all my exercise calories. I'm learning to savor and enjoy my food choices while balancing how much it costs me to exercise.18

Two nsv kinda similar and they happened close together.
1. My seatbelt fits without cutting into me now.
2. I sat in one of our armed wooden dinning room chairs (usually we only use the armless ones) and my hips actually fit without hurting!20 -
Boyfriend told me today that regardless of what the scale may say, I LOOK a lot slimmer, and my rear end has taken on a different shape.22

I came back from a ten-day trip and my clothes all still fit comfortably... I was really afraid they wouldn't.17

I went 'clothes shopping' in my own wardrobe. Most of my current wardrobe has become too big and I ended up rooting around in a box of clothes I tucked away years ago because they were too small.
I found a sweater that is probably more than 10 years old and that I really liked back then, and it fit and looked good too!
It's going to be tricky for the next half of my weight loss though, I don't have any smaller clothes left so I'll have to 'waste' some money on a transitional wardrobe. A great problem to have though21
