Day/Weight/Comment
4/7: 140.0 (-.8) – Still working off the weekend sodium and fat. Ate well yesterday, until dessert.
4/8: 138.6 (-.4) – meals were pretty healthy, snacking not so much. Had some wine on the deck. Got a good workout in on the Peloton and did a nice stretch and core class.
4/9: 139.2 (+.6) – Good workouts today. OK food. Zoom HH. Ice cream. All in all, a delicious day.
4/10: 139.8 (+.6) - Eating choices lead to this….totally within my control.
4/11: 140 (+.2) Ate well today….made chicken tortilla soup. I will be back on track on Monday.
4/12: 140.2 (+.2) Easter was great – nice weather, made a delicious brunch and typical ham, au gratins and green beans dinner. Salty but delish. Glad its over and I can refocus on protein and veggies. And more water.
4/13: 140.0 (-.2) Time for the Monday restart.
4/14: 140.0 (0) Ok day of eating yesterday. Did a nice bike ride. Need to get back into strength and stretching. Didn’t need the ice cream but is was good.

Round 110
04/07: Off the rails
04/08: Off the rails
04/09: Off the rails
04/10: 180.6 - up 7.4 pounds - yike! And the majority is real weight gain but I'm owning it today. I've been hiding from the scale for at least 3 weeks and finally weighed today. I started going off the rails early March and tried getting control numerous times and by mid March, I was 100% off with no tracking, no weighing and stress eating and bingeing. So this is where I've landed! I've not only gained weight but feeling like crap from all the bad food I've put in my system, not drinking water, and limited exercise. So, got to play catch up - ugh! My lowest on MFP was 173.2 on March 8.
I do feel better just finally weighing and knowing where I stand. Hopefully tracking again and posting here will get me back to how good I was feeling before I went down this rabbit hole. All the people here are so great and supportive and I know it works even if I slipped for a while.
04/11: 180.8
04/12: 180.2
04/13: 180.0 Didn't think I'd ever have to be looking for the 170's again but at least I caught myself before I was in the mid-180's again.
04/14: 180.0
04/15: 179.7

04/09 – 126.0 – not sure how I am getting the exact same weight so many days in a row, but I have tested the scale.
04/10 – 126.2 – I guess my scale heard the complaining, but I would have preferred it to go the other way. Could just be my mid-cycle/ovulation bloating too.
04/11
04/12
04/13 – 127.4 – I have been horrible with Easter this weekend, and just generally working from home (in the kitchen close to all of the food). Eating too much in general and not making good choices at all.

04/08 - 354.5 - minor uptick. My losses have definitely slowed. But sticking to the program WILL get me there. But I now understand why so many get so discouraged when this happens. You put in the work, but don't get the results... temporarily. Everyone stay safe!!
04/09 - 353.4 - And down we go again. I think I'm thru this plateau/sticking point finally. Went for a walk this morning and then motivated myself with DDPYoga a bit later. And I still have a little bit of shopping and another walk tonite.
04/10 - 353.4 - My whole schedule was off today. I'll chalk the day up to being off on everything and call this my *pass* day.
04/11 - 353.6 - Virtually no change. I'm staying w/ the plan, though. Forward and, hopefully, downard. Stay the course.
04/12 - 353.3 - And a little drop again. I'd much prefer a steady, slow drop, but I'll get there.
04/13 - 354.4 - With the rain, we couldn't walk this morning. Hopefully, it'll clear up later. Also found myself doing some absent-minded eating last night. Promptly moved those snacks back to the kitchen. Focus and consistency.
04/14 - 354.8 - Been going up a bit. Might be a residual from before, but I'm sure it's just a blip.
04/15 - 353.2 - I had been doing some accidental cheating, not thinking it would matter much. As soon as I realize it and go back, I drop again. In autophagy, even little things can get you out of it.

I think I figured out my weight.... Drink a ton of water, flush out the system, and feel 10lbs lighter and feel a bit less bloated. Still have a pregnant-looking belly but its not so big now. My skin almost immediately plumped up after I drank all that water so I'm guessing it was dehydration and some serious water weight (though I have been drinking water, body needed more than I expected)13

Round 110 - April 7 to 16
Female, 5’, 67 years. SW – 165.8 GW – 164, UGW – 140.
Goals: continue with 12 hr. IF, complete my tracking every day and get some kind of outdoor exercise unless it is raining. Did not do well on the exercise the last couple of rounds and it shows – a steady creep up. Reminded by Tish’s video on breathing how important drinking water is. So this round I’m planning to work much harder on the exercise and drinking water.
Can’t control much else but this is a battle I can win – as someone wrote.
Day/Weight/Comment
04/07 -165.8 – Slept in so didn’t log.
04/08 – 165.8 –
04/09 – 165.6 – IF 12 hrs., tracked everything including water and was good, even with some ice cream. Beautiful day so spent ½ hr. cleaning up perennials in the yard.
04/10 – 165.6 – Made Easter bread but didn’t start till after lunch and it rises 3 times so had a slice mid-evening but was careful to make a light supper and no dessert/fruit. My bread has a lighter icing (has custard in it) but still icing sugar so not a great choice, even if within cals. Made DH happy though. Just have to be careful not to eat too much of it. Making pea soup today for some healthy fibre.
04/11 – 166 – Not sure if this is extra salt from the soup or extra bread – maybe both. Making rye today and leave the Easter bread for DH. I used to make most of my own bread but for many years now would just make it occasionally. Now I am trying to use up home-ground flour (they grew the rye and wheat and ground it for me) from my daughter. It doesn’t keep like the commercial stuff but tastes wonderful.
04/12 – 166.2
04/13 - 166
04/14 – 166 – Not a great weekend foodwise – too much Easter bread and icing. Made 2 batches of bread on Sat. and if I can get in another batch of rye this week will have finished with that flour + have bread for a couple of months. After sitting around all Sunday, yesterday I got outside for some gardening and did 20 min. stretches and abs exercise inside. Tracked all, stayed on plan and 12 hr. IF. Now if I can just stick with that all week!
04/15 – 166.4 – I think this is the weekend still paying me back. Not a lot of exercise yesterday as it was raining out but did do about 15 min. inside. IF, yes, but did not track. Rain & snow this morning but now the sun is out so maybe a walk this afternoon.

4/8 121.5 Way over on everything yesterday. Our wonderful SIL has To go in to work yesterday so went to Sam’s and Walmart and got EVERYTHING on my list except a supplement I have been taking for well over a decade. Fresh produce will be a challenge in the coming weeks but otherwise we’re good.
**4/9 121.0 Fasted for 20 hours 8PM on 4/8 to 4PM 4/9
4/10 120.0 Yesterday during my fast I found myself going to the kitchen a couple of times and then realizing I wasn’t even hungry. I had intended to fast for 18 hours and went to 20 with no actual hunger. I think I would have been okay longer but had to “feed” DH. I made “dinner” at 4 because we needed to eat the coleslaw that was leftover so hot dogs (no bread) and slaw it was. No snacking in the evening.
4/11 120.0
4/12 119.5. Had a nice visit with our daughter and SIL yesterday sitting on the driveway. He got gas in DH’s car while we chatted then joined us as we maintained about a 20 foot separation.
4/13 120.0
4/14 120.0 Approaching the end of another round! Why do these 10 days fly by and a month of “stay home” drags on?
4/15 119.5 Well, I finally got back. Interrupted by MFP maintenance at 8:23 PT then household stuff. DH cleaning garage, house being power washed before being painted, getting trash and bulk ready to be set out tonight and getting ready to receive grocery order tonight. It’s a good day.10 -
I had a bad week due to TOM, so I’m hoping not giving into cravings will help in this round. Good luck everyone!

04/07: 178.2 (A nice 2 lb loss to start the round! I ate to plan and did another workout. My husband took a full body picture of me preworkout and I posted it on Instagram. I got a lot of comments saying how good I look and people asked me how I lost all the weight so far. It feels good to get that recognition!)
04/08: 177.4 (Yes, please go down! I’m happy to see this number. The hope is that by Friday I’ll have a brand new low. I had food to plan and did another hour long workout!)
04/09: 176.2 (I’m so close to my lowest weight! Just 0.2 pounds left I can basically see it. I did another YouTube workout last night and danced to Ariana Grande songs. I made a yummy Passover dinner last night that included a delicious garlic butter ribeye steak. It was a bit of an indulgence but necessary for a holiday!)
04/10: 176.0 (I finally got to the weight I was after being hospitalized at the end of September! It’s taken me 6 months but all that hard work finally paid off! I had a grilled cheese and chicken rice soup for dinner and did my last workout until Sunday!)
04/11: 178.8 (I knew I would gain because of ovulation! I definitely had 2 slices of pizza last night that did not help either. Oh and I didn’t workout so I was not at a deficit, but it’s okay and expected!)
04/12: 180.4 (I’m not surprised by this gain! I’m kind of hoping these 180’s will not show up on my scale ever again. I can only hope. Starting on Monday, I’m going to try to introduce some other workouts into my routine. My gym offers workouts from home so I’m excited to try it out!)
04/13: 178.6 (That’s a nice drop! I stopped the snacking that I had extra calories for and did another dance workout so I had a nice deficit. I’m hoping for a brand new low this week!)
04/14: 177.2
04/15: 177.4 (I am extremely sore from a new workout I did. I think I’ll go back to just dancing 😅 I burn a lot, have tons of fun and don’t cuss out the instructor on TV! Ate to plan as well!)

Day | Weight | Change | Comment
04/07 | 133.9kg | -0.1kg | Good day yesterday! Tracked my calories and came in under target. Got 30 mins of exercise in throughout the day. Drank 2.5L+ of water. Ate lots of veggies. Feeling good after ticking off lots of goals for the day!
04/08 | 133.8kg | -0.1kg | Another good day yesterday. Tracked everything, came in just on target (like 20 cals over), got in 30 mins of exercise. Didn't drink enough water but still feeling good.
04/09 | 133.8kg | No change | Still on track yesterday! Really I ate too much bread but still came in right on calorie target. Did 30mins of walking around the house/in place, and drank all the water. At home alone today with the toddler, so movement is a little more restricted throughout the day but we might get out for an afternoon walk if the weather is nice!
04/10 | 133.9kg | +0.1kg | I didn’t track for yesterday but will do that shortly. I know I ate too much and made poor choices though! Got takeaway food for dinner as hubby was home late from his out of town trip. Didn’t get out for a walk with the little one but I did do 5 miles on the stationary bike and some standing ab work while he napped so I still got my 30 mins in. Did well with water. An average day overall! Also had to brave the supermarket with the little one, was pleasantly surprised to find many items back on the shelves!
04/11 | 134.0kg | +0.1kg
04/12 | 134.2kg | +0.2kg | Happy Easter to all! I have indulged in too much chocolate, too much beer, too much sodium, and have not had near enough water in the last couple of days. Feeling a bit down and eating my emotions. Need to do better.
04/13 | 134.3kg | +0.1kg | Still not doing better!
04/14 | 134.3kg | No change | Busy day yesterday, cleaning the last of the stuff out of our kitchen ready for the tradies to arrive later today (hubby has to remove the cabinets today, and then they will be removing a brick wall to open up to the dining/lounge area, and resheeting the entire room due to water damage). I'm so excited to have my new kitchen at last! There will be a lot of work over the next week or so, and since I'm working from home, I'll actually be working at my sister's house while it's happening. She's a teacher and it's school holidays here so she is able to help me look after my little one while I'm working. Very helpful! Looking to get back on track today.
04/15 | 134.6kg | +0.3kg | Disappointing. Realistically, I know that this is mostly water weight as I haven't been overeating that much. But I hate seeing the scale move up and up.
04/16 | 134.8kg | +0.2kg | Finding it really hard without a kitchen! My sister is feeding me while at her place during the day which is nice, but not necessarily healthy. Dinners are mostly takeaway at the moment. It's difficult but it's not for long. Will have to keep doing what I can and deal with the damage on the scale later.
ROUND SUMMARY
Gained 0.8kg this round. Realistically, I know most of this is water weight as I certainly haven't eaten THAT many calories in the last 10 days! But with the next week looking like a lot of takeaway, sodium is going to stay high for a while (I live in a small town with only a few options for takeaway, none of which are healthy). I will persevere and do what I can, then start over in my brand new kitchen when I can!14 -

04/06 …..202.8….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
04/07 …..203.6 ….. I am hoping its water retention, but probably not. I enjoyed a movie night last night with my son which included snacks that didn’t belong. Not an over-abundance, but definitely outside of plan. I still had in over 5 miles total steps/walking for the course of the day, some small cabin cleaning and housework in my home and I made a pot of soup. Today I will work on taxes (again), and hopefully do some more prep cooking for my freezer. I hope to keep the carbs at a reasonable amount to help my glucose numbers continue to improveI don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be overheated or be a sweathog when summer finally hits, so I’ve got to stay focused! . Good luck everyone this round. Congratulations to all the great results I saw last round from so many!
04/08 …..203.5 ….. I did a dance session yesterday for 23 minutes. Sample song, “In my feelings (Kiki, do you love me?) by Drake. Yesterday was a successful day overall on my journey. Today (I am hopeful) will be even better.
04/09 …..203.9 ….. Okay, so good news and bad news. Bad news first: I had a small to medium binge last night. All cravings driven. I’ve had worse, but its something I just can’t afford right now. Now, for the good news: thanks to @dawnbgethealthy I tried her recommended zumba Fitness Marshall last night. It is going to take a minute to get used to the steps but I really liked it. I must say though, as much as I love all genres and decades of music, I am not familiar with most of this music. Also, I stumbled around a bit like a flailing bird with a broken wing so I am definitely not as cool as I thought I was. I looked and behaved more like an old 60 yr old woman who is out of shape, (oh, that’s right, I will be 60 soon and I do have quite a bit of weight to lose!) However, I’m going to try this a couple of days per week if all goes well. Especially during the shut-in, shelter-in-place orders. Of course, trying to work out in my home is almost impossible as there are constant people at my door and constant phone calls & interruptions (I run my motel and cabins from my home office on the premises). But, as always, I do my best. I have to say, though, working in a 24 hour per day business is not easy on anyone when you are the only employee! I hope you are all hanging in there. In Michigan USA our Governor has officially extended the shut-in until April 30th when it will be revisited.
04/10 …..203.2 ….. Okay, that is much better. It was a hard night last night. I made a plan that if severe hunger struck, I would have an egg. They are low calorie, only 1 carb and quite filling. But mostly, I am so SICK of them I knew I would not overeat them. So it was egg or nothing! Then, the sugar drop started coming on. It was slow but steady. I knew I had to eat, but an egg does not have enough carbs to bring up my sugar! Determined to stick to plan (as much as possible), I quickly scrambled my egg and made one piece of toast with butter. I made a half of egg sandwich (the bread would give me the carbs I needed) and I ate it and waited. Waiting is the hard part because the instinct is to keep eating until all the symptoms stop. I trusted the process and waited. Slowly (very slowly) I started to feel better. I am proud that I stuck to my plan as much as possible. It could have been a fast bowl of sugary cereal, but no, I stuck to the egg. I’m so glad I did. Luckily I still had calories left for the day. I traded out my last low carb snack for the 1/2 sandwich. The scale still rewarded me.
04/11 …..203.3 ….. Just a normal fluctuation. I did some walking yesterday and a small set of Zumba Fitness Marshall. I think I will be awkward on the Zumba for awhile, but it’s okay, I just keep moving even if I miss the step switches. Overall, a pretty good day. I did have another sugar drop last night, but I handled it. The slower ones are SO MUCH easier. Enjoy your Saturday everyone. I will be watching The Ten Commandments (3.5 hours long) with my son later. I know my diet and exercise for today will not be so good, but the time with my son will be wonderful.
04/12 …..203.4 ….. Pizza. The movie (The Ten Commandments from 1956) was almost 4 hours long. It was nice to share it with my son. Happy Easter everyone! I miss my grandkids!
04/13 …..203.6 ….. I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter. It was cold and snowy here. Today the snow is actually sticking. I ventured out today with my mask and gloves because one of my units had a refrigerator decide to break down so I had to get a new one. That proved very challenging!
04/14 …..203.4 ….. I am praying for a good day with food choices. I have woke up starving and that is not typical. I must face the day with hope, not despair. The scale is down so I will start my focus there. It snowed all night. So cold outside. What a blah day! I will work hard to make it a fruitful positive day!
04/15 …..203.4 ….. I had more movement yesterday and more calorie burn. However, I ate back the calories and some extra. I feel like a hamster in a wheel. I am doing something differently today but I don’t want to mention it right now because, if I fail, I just cannot take another failure at this time (especially a public one). I’m just going to have to work hard on it. My goal was to be less than I started. It doesn’t look possible, but I’m not going to give up just yet. Come on Whoosh!

04/11 136.2 – 9.47 miles walked yesterday. Feeling much happier with myself this morning, stuck to the healthy eating plan and only deviated with a very slightly larger glass of wine than planned, but still within calories; 267 calories in credit, 33 carbs over (hot cross bun took me over). Hoping this is the “top of the curve” !! Will pre log all foods again today – it helped yesterday. Happy Easter Saturday everyone.

Start weight... October 2017: 107kg
Goal weight... October 2017: 75kg
I have been meaning to lose the last few KG to get down to my 75kg goal. Now nothing is open I thought this would be the perfect time to get there. I have been sitting around my current weight since August 2018 so I am comfortable with my maintenance lifestyle but always had that end goal in the back of my mind that I set in October 2017!
04/13 - 81.2kg - 5.8 miles walked - 2000 calories eaten as it was a rest day - Watched a program on BBC iPlayer that compared all takeaways and the effects that two weeks of eating them for every meal has. Did you know 1 in 6 18-25 year olds in the UK have a takeaway 2 times a day most days of the wee?k
04/14 - 81.3kg - 13 miles biked - 4.2 miles walked - 2500 calories eaten - Day went a lot quicker working from home than it did over the long Easter weekend! I do have an Easter egg waiting for me at my girlfriends to enjoy once lock-down is over
04/15 - 81.2kg - 10 miles biked - 3.5 miles walked - 2300 calories eaten - Yesterday was a pretty uneventful day, which in the current climate is quite refreshing!
04/16 - 81kg - 17 miles biked - Had a major issue with my chain this morning in that it snapped right at the end of my ride I was planning a long ride this weekend but not anymore!
It's only been 4 days but -0.2kg so onward and upwards to the next round!
If your goal is to be at a higher/lower number than when you started, don't be put down by the fact that higher/lower number isn't as high/low as you wanted! Over the course of weeks and months these changes add up drastically!
If you ever feel down and head to the snack draw to get something sweet or something you don't need to eat. Think about the real reason you started this journey in the first place, because when I think about mine it instantly gives me that 'it's not worth it feeling' and I grab a piece of fruit or have a coffee!14 -

Not been around for a while (since last year in fact!)
Thank you @GrandmaJackie for keeping this going - this group is fab and lovely to see so many familiar people on here and a whole new intake too!
Live in the UK - aged 48 (for a bit longer)
Been so busy with house renovations, then December, a trip to Disney and Christmas and a lot of socialising involving way too much food and drink and just not got my head back in it since then. Can feel my clothes getting tighter and the arrival of the nice weather made me realise my shorts from last summer don't fit great either! Want to get back to last summers goal weight.....
And now of course we're stuck at home But I am working from home as normal (in fact more hours than ever - CFO for an IT Support company supporting a lot of large London schools and pharma companies), hubby is working away at the minute (a Key worker working for GE dealing with power station generators so have to keep the power on!) so here with my daughters (aged 12 and 17) on my own trying to also find time to help them with their school and college work and also look after and help my parents who are in self isolation due to underlying health conditions (COPD and a history of strokes and pleurisy) so time for me is hard to find at the minute. Also worry about my daughter-in-law who is a nurse at Guys and St Thomas' in London and ventilator trained so in the thick of it....
So I decided enough is enough and that I need to find a bit of time for me, get re-focused and this group is a fab way to ensure I do!! No evening commitments at the minute so have time to focus on healthy evening meals.
Weighed yesterday and am back on it. Counting this as round 1 for me and not carrying from my old history.
Goal for the round is to stay focused, get back to daily weighing, do my PT workouts at least 3 times this week as well as a walk outside when I can.
04/06 - 155.0lb Oh well not great but I'm back and on it again.
04/07 - 153.8lb (-1.2lb) One day of focus and progress already Did the daily workout my PT is posting up each day on the Facebook group and ache this morning (haven't been able to go the gym for three weeks now!) Then also did a 4 mile round trip walk to my parents to drop off a few bits for them. So a good start. On to tomorrow....
04/08 - 153.6lb (-0.2lb) All in the right direction and completed my PT's workout again (lower body - and I'm feeling it this morning!)
04/09 - 153.1lb (-0.5lb) A HiiT session from my trainer today which finished me off! Also got out for a quick coupe of mile walk. Tracking my food OK but probably not drinking enough water so that's my focus for the next few days.

Saturday night dine in for 2 meal with hubby (close to a date night as we can get at the moment!) and a lovely Easter Sunday meal of roast leg of lamb, dauphinoise potatoes and the girls mini eggs easter cheesecake! Hubby now gone again so back to it properly and pleased that I have lost a bit sonce end of last week so in a good state of mind to carry on next rou nd

04/16 - 150.1 - On my way down.... Sad I couldn't lose 0.2 more today but that was a tall order for my body to pull off. Today we will go kayak fishing on the river so more activity in store in that sense. Bought 2 jetskis and a double trailer yesterday with BF so we have playtoys. Which is good because the friend in our crew that has a boat and jetski (whom we rely on when we want to go to the lake) has decided they need to completely isolate rather than the usual social distancing. We now have our own way. It'll work out better, too, when the kids get here, as both skis are 3-seater and when kids are here, there will be 5 of us. There's a nice sandbar we go to that is kayaking distance, but the younger 2 may struggle to get to it in a kayak (I was sore by the time I made it) and very little can be taken on those (a cooler with food, a cooler with drinks, beach games, etc) so if nothing else, skis be good for that.
Previous Day's Comments04/07 - On an uptick today. Had homemade street tacos with the usual fam last night (we help watch their kids [I'm an aunt!! Only child over here, so I am soaking that in] and the hubby is BF's boss so they sometimes have to work together) so hanging out for dinner really isn't violating social distancing any more than any other time of the day we may be assisting. Might as well combine forces and not waste food since we are already there (and total there are 4 adults and 2 children so still less than the 10 person gathering limit). Unfortunately, the food is AMAZING and very easy to overeat. Also desperately need to up my water intake. I've been slacking off horribly. Depending on how today goes, I should have yoga via zoom and I'm about to do some hip thrusts before BF wakes up since my back has been hurting a bit lately (surgeon's orders - keep glutes and hips strong and aligned to reduce pinching of my nerve and so far, it seems to help). Hoping today will be better activity-wise. No rain and temps back in 80s so maybe I can get outside for fresh air and a walk or something.
04/08 - Not even sure why... possibly from a carb-heavy breakfast (homemade biscuits&gravy)? Oh yeah, possibly lunch. Only had a handful, but pizza rolls = no bueno. Also got more water so maybe that? I don't know. Today will be better, I hope. Work says severe thunderstorms today. Everything else I see says tomorrow and Saturday for storms and rain Friday. Its muggy so definitely something moving in. Will need to get outside for fresh air and sunshine before all that! Might venture out to the store (mama made and sent me face masks! Yay for quilters in the family) to stock up on some food and grab salad for me while I'm at it. My Imperfect Produce order is set to arrive today (figured I'd try it -- BF's idea despite him hating most veggies) but will need some leafy greens and protein for salads (mainly lunch as breakfast and dinner BF and I eat together)
04/09 - I'm okay, this is okay, it'll all be okay (trying to convince myself). Homemade lasagna last night and it was GOOD (scale thinks so, too). It had veggies in it, but its still lasagna, all heavy and carby. Imperfect Produce came yesterday. Gotta figure out what in the world to do with it before it all goes bad. Out of eggs and can't get more unless we buy from the store (ugh), and we've had biscuits and gravy for 3 days straight now. I can't do it again today. I didn't make it to the store yesterday so no salad greens, either. Just some avocado, tomatoes, lime, lemons, green bell peppers, green onion, asparagus, mushrooms, oranges, and mangos. If only I had eggs, I'd chop up some of those veggies for a nice omelet with bacon. Went for a short walk to the fam's house yesterday to pick up lunch (they ordered too much and didn't want to waste it) and also did some bodyweight glute exercises in the living room. No walk today as storming all day, but will try to do the bodyweight stuff in the living room. Got water in yesterday and going for that again today. Hopefully today won't be so carb-heavy so I can drop back down. I'm taunting 150 and I never want to see that on the scale again! Absolutely must be good today so I don't wake up to that tomorrow
04/10 - Apparently my post never made it? Sorry if this is a duplicate. Was scared to step on the scale this morning but very happy to see I avoided the 150s for another day. The run seemed to help out since we ordered out at a local favorite burger joint for dinner. It was so good, I DEVOURED it. I'm currently researching homes that can be built (construction or modular) for a piece of land that we found. It seems almost too good to be true and may prove to be when it comes to the stipulations of the VA Home Loan requirements. Either way we go, the land AND whatever dwelling (which meets the VA loan minimum requirements) may be more than I can get approved for. I just hate missing out since getting land around here for less than a million is very difficult, and even more especially getting enough to allow hunting (10+acres). If it doesn't happen, its not meant to be, but its a little stressful as I'm having to do research and learn and call places to get better information before making crazy decisions recklessly.
04/11 - So sad. I couldn't avoid 150 😭 heavy dinner of steak, boudain, okra radish salad, and mashed potatoes. Just too big serving I think. Looking at a house today. It's a now or next year (or longer) because if we can't move in by June (when the lease is up) we have to wait until Dec and that's a horrible time to move. We've moved in Dec 3 years in a row now, we don't want to do it again. And we are nervous that we won't find anything like this (land, bed/baths, and within our price range) for a couple more years and be stuck renting. Possibly kayaking up the river a short bit to fish later tonight.
04/12 - Between the walking, being away from home during lunch so only grabbing a snack (so not to ruin dinner) and eating leftovers (in a much smaller portion), I managed to get back down. Crawfish boil today and I think that will help, as well. Not a lot of meat on those suckers and a lot of work to get to them haha Probably lazy day outside of that. BF is a little grumpy (from last night). No reason for it, but just hit a mood and can't shake it. Fine by me as I'm hurting quite a bit from the storm and pressure change and would rather take it easy today. We put in an offer on the land so we shall see how it goes from here!
04/13 - That's definitely a carb bloat. Pizza last night because it was a last minute dinner thing. Woke up 3 different times and drained an entire water bottle over those 3 wakeups. Still woke up crazy thirsty, too. I'm hoping today is a little better food-wise, though I still don't have my salads for lunch since I keep forgetting them when I go. BF has been using the veggies in our breakfast which I am happy about. Will have to leave for my work meeting (picking up my work phone so I'm not chained to my computer) before BF gets breakfast going so will be fasting instead. Depending on how long this takes, I should get back just in time for lunch -- not that I have too much here to eat, I'd rather eat at home and save my money. Also depending on how this work phone pickup goes, it should be a nice day and I can plant my beans in the garden finally! Maybe a walk after, too? Time will tell but if nothing else, I'll take garden work.
04/14 - Carbs and I are having a very difficult relationship. Coconut shrimp last night. Usually don't like shrimp but loved this kind! Unfortunately, there wasn't enough so I only got 2 pieces. Had to fill up on carbs (rice and beans) instead or go hungry. Oh well. Its cold today so not sure what is in store as far as movement and fresh air goes. Ready for consistent warmth with no rain (it seems to like timing the rain perfectly on weekends... and be warmer on weekends when it rains instead of during the week between rain just to spite me.
Edit: Fam has a break from work and the weather looks good enough (though chilly) this afternoon around lunch so we are going to run. Well, she'll run, I'll jog/walk alternate. Every little bit counts, though, and now I have a "date" for it so no excuses!
04/15 - I have no effing clue whatsoever. The run didn't happen because 2 other girls said they'd go with fam and I. Then bailed because it was cold out. Then fam had "more time later" but didn't elaborate when exactly and was already done with her run by the time I saw her come down the street and I had just gotten back from running an errand. This afternoon BF and I are supposed to go to Austin to pick up something he bought so unless I go on my own or the girls are up for an earlier run, today is out as well. Another chilly day, I think, but I may just go on my own around the neighborhood like fam does and get it over with. Motivation is being solidly in the 150s again and I can't handle that. Also I remembered and bought salads for lunch the rest of this week so hopefully that'll help as well. Not sure about dinner but MUST pay attention to portions for all dinner -- Its my biggest downfall. Goal is to get out of 150s by tomorrow and end round back in 140s. Wish me luck!

04/16: 179.2 I'm so happy to be back on track and trying not to think about the days I'm spending trying to get back to where I was...no choice really - I could keep gaining, stay where I was, or get going and get it over with. My cravings are subsiding thank goodness!
Short-Term Goal: Back into the 160's!

Bouncy bouncy. I’m actually surprised it didn’t bounce high as I had a bit of an eating binge yesterday. It was the first day I’ve felt really down since the stay-at-home routine started, and all I did was sleep and eat. Feel better this morning. I hope you’re all doing well.
4/8/20 - 181.2
Legacy of Monday’s binge, since I ate responsibly yesterday. Another beautiful day here, and I’m planning a nice long walk along the river and a little garden clean up if it’s not too wet. Be well, everyone.
4/9/20 - 181
Back to chilly, windy weather. But yesterday was gorgeous! And my baby forsythias, planted last year, are happy happy!
4/10/20 - 182.8
WHAT? Has to be delayed reaction from Monday, which seems really delayed, but I’ve been within bounds since then. Horrifying! But otoh, we’re healthy, so it’s not the worst that could happen.
4/11/20 - 182
No chocolate in the house and I think the Easter Bunny is staying home — a good thing. I have spelt bread rising and I think that will be my treat.
4/12/20 - 181
💐🐇🌸 I saw a wabbit in the yard this morning but she didn’t leave any goodies. Hoppy Easter! 🌷🐰🌹
4/13/20 - 181.4
4/14/20 - 182.6
Early weigh in ☹️ pizza yesterday. Off to the grocery store.
4/15/20 - 181
Where did these freezing temps come from? Don’t they know it’s spring? My poor daffodils. 😢 Supposed to be cold all week, but then bounce into the high 60s — looking forward to that! Successful grocery run yesterday — got everything on the list. Yay! I hope everyone’s doing well.
4/16/20 - 180.6
Okay, well, I’d hoped to lose a pound this round, but otoh, I’ve held steady for 60 days while eating pretty much whatever I want (mostly responsibly) and I’ve tracked accurately, so I have a pretty good sense of my real TDEE. I’m going to aim for 10% fewer calories next round and see what happens.

Day/Weight/Comment
04/07 - 160.8 lbs No will power, snacked in the afternoon and just couldn't bring myself to eat a salad for supper. I have to find something else low calorie for supper in the evening.
04/08160.2 lbs Under 1000 calories, IF 16 hours, 15,000 steps Spring cleaning continues, finished pantry.
04/09 158.8 lbs under 1000 calories, IF 16 hours, 12,000 steps Taking my "elderly" friends to town for groceries. Have not been there for a couple weeks. One can not drive and the other doesn't like to drive in winter and we got more snow this morning. So not much exercise.
04/10 158.2 lbs IF 16 hours, 12,000 steps, no idea what calories were, lots of snacking. Have a great Resurrection Weekend! I hope we all can visit with family and friends in one way or another.

04/13 162.4 lbs. I guess that is how quickly I gain when I don't track and enjoy a holiday. But still in way better shape this spring than last. Last winter I just gained, definitely did not stay the same or lose, so it's all good.
04/14 161.8lbs 1400 calories, 23,000 steps. IF 16 hours. Finished off the Easter leftovers so hopefully I can restart today.
04/15 160.2 lbs 1000 calories, 19,000 steps. IF 16 hours.
04/16 160.0 lbs 1000 calories, 10,000 steps, IF 16 hours.
Gain of .2 lbs this round.
