Oh well, not so good. Maintaining is better than a massive gain, so that's ok. It's a plateau I need to bust through in May. More movement is key, but it's been hard with my walking park being closed. I'm also eating more, and I've got more muscle too. It's still a tiny win in my book.

Apr 5: 202.8 Thatβs better. Struggling with keeping my glucose in check (T2D here). Either way too high or way too low. I am working on tweaking the diet more today. Looking for a downward trend on scale, plenty of healthy choices on the menu but less carbs to go along with less calories. Trying to find the sweet spot and when I do, that, in itself, will aid in the weight loss.
Apr 12: 203.4 Happy Easter Everyone!
Apr 19: 202.5 Recommitting. The nice weather helps get me excited about health, exercise and hiking. Come on better weather and a vaccination to end this stay-in order!
Apr 26: 204.3 Travel yesterday included Chinese so this weight is a little deceiving. Clearly I wonβt make goal but even if I lose the size of a teardrop, Iβll be happy.
Apr 30: 207.9 Travel weight after 3 separate days of travel this past week. Iβll be shedding water over the next couple of days (I hope).
Final thoughts: I likely would have at least broke even if not for the travel requirements this past week. Iβm going to work hard in May! Congrats to all the successes!

Well, it's been a wacky month. I'm glad to be where I am. Now I fully understand how much my walking routine impacts my weight-loss efforts. Tomorrow, NJ is opening parks again so hopefully I can get back into my routine (as long as everyone else practices social distancing and wears a mask!)
This is the lowest I have weighed since I was a junior in high school, so I am proud of that. Here's to tomorrow and a new effort to reach my goal of 125 pounds.
Congrats to everyone who lost weight this month and to everyone who stuck with it even though it has been an incredibly difficult April.
