The Joy of Cooking was my first cookbook.

Mine too. I still use it today., but I do get a lot of recipes online now. When I google an ingredient for a recipe, it often comes up with All Recipes site. It happens to be a recipe site I’ve been using since the early 2000’s. I like the reviews.

Agreed with all the recommendations for Joy of Cooking. It’s dry, but it’s a good foundation-builder.

Hubby & I have also really been enjoying the Oh She Glows Cookbook. True, you can find most of the recipes online, but if you prefer a physical book we’ve found it was worth the investment.

If you're looking for keto recipes, or thinking about going keto, The Complete Ketogenic Diet for Beginners by Amy Ramos is wonderful. It answers a lot of basic questions about how keto works and it has a 2-week meal plan that makes it easy to start. The book was my bible the first month or so that I was on keto. I use and recommend many of these recipes today.
