Hi all
I need to up my walking as I’ve become complacent whilst in isolation, so my goal this week is to do more steps, even if it’s following a you tube walking channel. Good luck everyone
I get the complacency aspect, I'm teleworking during this and find myself working more hours then I would if I were in the office. Mainly cause of the responses to COVID. Luckily I have a four legged companion that takes me for at least one nice long walk a day.
I also set a calendar reminder to get up and do some form of exercise. Otherwise I'll keep responding to emails or working the mountain of task my four bosses pile on me.
I also downloaded a few apps that help keep me active.
Hopefully you find the right motivator to keep you up to par on your walking game.

I'm keeping a conservative 1 pound a week goal but will press for 1.25 to 1.5. I'm fairly sure that I can get 5 pounds for a target of 210 or even better, but I don't want to set myself up for failure.
I plan to start doing a little more HIIT style routines as various injuries are getting well enough or they are not bothering me at all. So I feel better about pushing in that direction.
Otherwise, I'll keep doing my walks with my fur baby and doing some lifting at the house.

April has brought a lot of stress and set backs in my journey. Hoping this Month can turn it around and be the start of something great. I am lowering my weekly goal lb a week. Recording a day early just because I was so happy to see a lb. go....! I did some changes this week: alternated running and walking days. On walking days, went early and in a fasted state, turned the garmin on and kept going until it registered 500 calories burned....later in the day, I then added 20min workout in front of the TV while watching the news: weights, push ups, stretches, some yoga moves...
Diet: I am measuring olive oil.....using a teaspoon instead of tablespoon. Keeping protein at about 20gr per meal minimum. Trying to focus on selecting low inflammatory foods.
1 cheat meal 1x a week....an on the cheat day I work in moving more.
If I get really hungry, the "rule" is to not snack, but instead eat the next meal earlier.
I will continue doing this and see if it gets rid of the additional 17.5 lbs that don't belong!7 -

No loss this week. Work was really frustrating this week and I logged a few too many hours of work and not enough working out. Also was not too good when it came to eating. At least I did not gain, that's a positive note. Hopefully I can get some good activity in over the weekend and bounce back next week.
