I've been a good boy and eating Fiber 1 forever....but I've not forgotten the happy dance worthy Fruit Loops.2

I don't eat boxed cereals (did as a kid - Cheerios and Shreddies, Grape nuts, Cracklin Oat Bran come to mind)...but did any of you ate those little boxed varieties? My mom would buy a variety package when we went camping...and my brother and I would fight over who got what.
Back then the variety we had though didn't include the over the top sugared ones though...
I lived with someone who ate Nature's Path cereals. They sure are good, but I would end up eating it straight up out of the box...

dill pickle slices with chocolate protein shakes are my current craving/obsession - that Im gonna start advocating1 -
OK ok, my 7 yr old daughter has convinced me to join her on Saturday for a bowl of Frosted Flake Lucky Charms. Some strange hybrid Franken-cereal.

I'm afraid...
You should be afraid. Of the impending addiction. It is sooo good. My 8 year old asks for it and I eat half the box.1 -
I actually really like Corn Flakes and Cheerios.
Some of my favorites are Frosted Flakes, Cocoa Puffs, Cocoa Krispies, Cinnamon Toast Crunch.....
I rarely eat cereal now though. It is an occasional treat.0 -

So, Cornflakes. Endearing frustration? Or inherent design flaw?
What cereals do you hate and love?
Please indulge me. I'm very tired and bored.
You're doing it wrong. Pouring too fast, bowl too shallow, milk too high from the bowl, too much corn flakes in the bowl, .......
I eat cereal almost every day of my life. Half the time might be corn flakes. I don't usually splash the milk on the kitchen counter.0 -

give me frosted mini-wheats or fruit loops or chocolate cherrios any day o the week
Only the cheap discount brands get soggy too quick. And perhaps you need to eat faster or use a smaller portion.0 -

oh man, that cereal is amazing to me! MY favorite is peanut butter Chex. It's my evening treat. But I only eat it dry - no milk.0 -
I ate an egg and English muffin.
Puts cereal to shame

2 HB eggs today. No dizzy.0 -
I eat oats straight from the box. They're already steamed at the factory so I don't cook them any further for myself. I do cook the oats for others along with grits, wheat and all of the other grains. There's a reason that I eat uncooked oats and it has to do with winning blue ribbons at the county fair for my livestock. There are certain grains for stacking on some weight and then backing off for some definition and that's all I'll say about that.
It's a family secret.

I do like this vid about Oats With Daddy.
I believe in taking what you need from a bunch of different sources. My protocol is not just plant based but the oat thing, 1-3 times a day hasn't hurt me one iota.

You’re not wrong. That looks perfect 🤤0 -
Nah, they eat much, much more than oats. They have all kinds of plant based podcasts. I just like the power of oats with Daddy. There's always room for oats and Daddy which reminds me of Danny Thomas and St. Jude Hospital and we're off and running. So long now.
Oooo, oats and cooked grains are not just for 'old people'. Out here, toddlers eat them, too.0 -
Froot Loops are theeee best
Pros:
They are froot loops
Cons:
Stoopid spelling
Capn crunch mouth1 -

This is good, but it takes a lot more preparation time than a bowl of cereal.0 -

I have no desire to try the lucky charms. The cinnamon toast crunch is delicious though, I would recommend.1 -
I'm all about Cheerios...in order of goodness:
1. Multi-grain Cheerios (dry, no milk)
2. Honey Nut Cheerios (dry, no milk)
3. Plain Cheerios (must have milk)
Soggy cereal is the WORST, which is why I lean towards eating them dry. If I have to put milk on it, I eat it really fast so that it stays crispy.0 -
I like mini wheats, special K, bran buds, raisin bran, and Nature’s Path sunrise.
Sometimes I make slow cooker steel cut oats with apple cinnamon and a touch of honey.0 -
Rice Krispies, Cheerios and Crispix are my faves. I don't really care for a lot of the sweetened cereals, but if there are Froot Loops in the house, all bets are off.1
