That’s the mentality to have! I’ve gained so much weight but I tell myself that I’ve done it before, I can do it again!
Btw, awesome second picture you posted!

You can do it! You can do anything you put your mind to. Sometimes we just need a good word with ourselves. You’ll have to forgive me I’m trying to find my way around this app. I’m useless with stuff like this 🤣 I don’t have a clue what I’m doing haha 🙄 I hope you’ve had a good day.? If not remember tomorrow’s a new day x 👍🏻
And thank you. ☺️2 -
Hi! I started today also. I’m not new to weight loss tho. Been anywhere between 196 and 206 and only 5’2”. Currently starting at 202 I also have mobility health and medication issues but my life looks like it will be awful if I don’t lose weight now I’m ready to start this again. Sounds like Karen and I are a good match! You and I can do this. It may be a bit slower than other people until we can burn some kcal.1

@Westieok it’s tough isn’t it. It’s like a vicious circle. I’m scared of gaining more weight which will effect my mobility and illnesses more so I decided to look after my body which will take pressure off my joints, will be good for mental health and I’ll feel fitter. We can do this 😀1

Hi. I am looking for support. I started this at the end of September 2019 and by December I lost a little over 2 lbs. As of today since December I’ve gained 7 lbs. I’m really not exercising either. I want to get healthier and lose weight. I’m just really struggling.0

Well, the big problem for me is tracking everything I’m eating. When I did that it helped me lose a little weight. I stopped doing that and I started eating more and gained some weight. I want to start tracking my food again. It’s hard for me. I need to just start. Last night I put one thing I had for dinner in my diary. It was the first time in months. It will hopefully help me get started again.1

@mssue18 Tracking is a HUGE key to success. I track everything that passes my lips because it’s so easy to forget what you’ve eaten etc. It’s the things that’s missed off that contain calories that don’t get counted and they really matter. Just try make a conscious effort to log things and just think to yourself it’s going to be beneficial on your journey. 👍🏻0

@absandproteinshakes thanks darlin. That’s really kind of you. Looking for all the support I can get to help me on my journey. I’m in a really good mental state right now. 💪🏻 I can and I will do this. 😀1

I walked for 20 min. today. It gave me extra exercise calories to have in my daily total. So far my day is going well. I want frozen yogurt now. I don’t want to reward myself with food. I think I will have some water. Ask myself if I really want food.1

That’s fantastic. Well done you! It’s baby steps all the way. I need to go for a little walk with my two dogs. It’ll do me the world of good. I suffer anxiety so it’s not always possible to leave the house but I’m feel great so far.. day 4 today and stuck to it religiously. 💪🏻0

Good for you! You can do it! Walking is really helpful. Baby steps for you too to get out and walk. It gave me some extra calories that I didn’t use, and helped me have some success today.2

I’m doing ok so far. This is the third day I’m logging everything I eat, and I’ve walked 20 min. on 2 days. I’m so hoping I lose weight this week. My weigh in day is Friday. I do get weighed every day though. It keeps me focused. After reading what I just wrote, I’m doing great!1

Should I exercise just to give me extra calories I can eat? That’s cutting corners and not exercising for health. Is exercise and calorie count only for the amount of food you can eat? Today, I’m a little confused.0
-
Fantastic, way to go, with your attitude you will get there!
I'm back for about the 400th time now, starting over yet again, etc etc.

@CM_73 it’s tough I know. Staying motivated and trying to lose weight is one of the hardest things. I’ve battled from being 22 so a looonnng time 🤣 keeping it off is the hardest. I think you have to be in the right mindset. I’ve wanted to do this for so long but made excuses and slipped into depression or something’s got in the way. I woke up 7 days ago and thought today’s the day I take the reigns and start to move more. I do have mobility issues which carrying extra weight isn’t going to help so here I am and I’m loving it. Got myself a Fitbit and I’m motivated and focused like never before. You too can do this 💪🏻2

Today I weighed myself for my weekly weigh in. I lost .2 lbs. I’m happy because I was able to stabilize from a month ago. I’m the same as I was then. This is my 6th day of tracking again. I’m getting into a routine. This app is great!0
-
I want to have a goal for the next week. Actually, I want to work on goal setting. Anyone have a goal for the next week that they want to share? How did you decide on it?0
-
How is everyone doing? I’ve been able to stick to my calorie goal so far this week. I have yet to start exercising regularly. I’ve had to stay indoors and couldn’t do my walking. I need a boost to do it.0

Lol motivation is just what I need quick to give advice crap and motivating my own words lmao0
