Should go to processed protein or processed carb
I think processed protein is better and protein is vital element that nourish body than carb that
Is destined to be fats
Protein enter in body in manufacture enzymes hormones ,DNA and muscles
Am I right ?

If I'm going to have fun, it'll be an extremeley chocolately biscuit from M&S (actually it was two- I've just eaten them). The foods that I've already eaten through the day are balanced and nourishing.4

You use all macros.
Other than fat (which needs no conversion to be itself) nothing else is destined to be converted into fat in your body!
When you eat too many carbs, above your maintenance calorie level, more often than not it is not the carbs that get stored as fat (it costs your body energy to convert them). What gets stored is the fat you also ate at the same time. If you're in an energy surplus.
If you're in an energy deficit (successfully reducing your weight), you are not storing fat. By definition you're reducing your net stores of fat.
Once you've eaten what many consider enough protein, 0.6g to 0.8g per lb of goal weight within the normal weight range (multiply kg * 2.2), eating more is ok but will only offer marginal incremental benefits
Control your calories and you'll lose weight. Eat food and in a way that you see yourself following 5 years from now.5 -
I just had fun with a burger.. oh the debauchery2

You do realise that carbs very, very rarely "turn into fat"? (In humans.)
It takes a consistent and prolonged calorie surplus and an enormous and prolonged intake of carbs - like a glucose drip.
Fat is the preferred macro to be stored as fat, but of course net increase in body fat only comes in a calorie surplus.
Maybe just choose something that you enjoy if you are "looking to have fun" rather than overthink things?6 -
If I'm going to have fun, wine.
I’ve joined you in that, sat in the garden on a nice sunny day glass in hand.
(Thought I’d do a post somewhere as I have been MIA for a couple of months. (Try to catch up when I can)
Not C19, mum (93) having health crisis in UK and I can’t get over from west coast Canada.
Lots of angst and hours on the phone.
Be kind, be calm, stay safe.
Cheers, h.14 -
