    Fine. I tried to behave.

Not very hard and not very well.

But it’s the thought that counts. 🤷‍♀️

The position I set out to get when I started my clinical year is now mine. Granted there is a temporary hiring freeze so my start date is delayed, either way, my hard work has paid off.

Today was 30 days logging (mostly) seriously. I took measurements on the 11th of May and took them again today. I have only lost 4lbs in a month (boo), but I have lost one (a little bit more) inch from my waist and my hip measurement also went down. That means that even though this is slow AF, what I am doing is working.

This month I started walking 4 times a week. This next month, I'd like to work up to 5 walks a week. I'd also like to work on drinking more water and staying hydrated.

So yeah, goals.. I have them. Even though this is (again), slow AF and I don't have a bangin' bod like a lot of the people here. My health is slowly improving. Whoot.

I’m proud of myself because even though I had a crappy few days mentally I have (again) pulled myself back together, remembered everything unfolds exactly as it should, believe I’m high value, know that some people believe it and don’t care if it’s only a few and... forgive myself for some lapses in judgement.

You always inspire me Mel <3

I have been trying to get a good cleaning routine down and do a better job staying ontop of my house. We are having friends over tonight and it's been no big deal. I did a few things to tidy up, but in general the house is staying pretty presentable at all times. I feel like I finally have this all figured out!

I had a goal to run 7 miles this morning. Instead, I did 8.28 miles.

More so from yesterday but I cut out most sugars for the past 2 weeks and I had a craving for candy last night and I was so tempted to eat the Snickers I have saved up in my fridge but instead I just went to sleep. Late night cravings solved by going to sleep instead. Who knew 😆
