I've been spending tons of time in my shop continuing to branch out on different projects, some new learning, some refining what I'd already learned.......

I've been reading and doing puzzles again more. Partly quarantine and partly this all happened about the time I finally wrapped up my masters and got more free time back. In a way quarantine has been nice, sometimes I have a tendency to overshedule and run too much, it's forced us to take a step back and chill.

I have enough post-apocalyptic life skills to get me by that I probably don't need to learn more. I honed my crochet game and finished a year long project during quarantine.

    It's beautiful!

Wow, amazing detail! I can't even imagine.

I don't know if these qualify as hobbies, but I've been doing yard work like crazy and, tbh, I rarely cooked, so preparing my own meals on a daily basis.

I'm coloring in a beautiful adult coloring book, but I don't particularly enjoy it.

I started learning to play piano during quarantine. Am I any good? HA. No. Did I have fun doing it? Yeah!

I’ve planted over 700 mixed bulbs in the garden for spring (winter here). I’ve gone garden crazy. I’m also really into doctor who now.

I plan to go on an epic bulb spree in the fall as well! I placed the order, I am just biding my time now :)

Haha, we planted tulip bulbs one year, a whole mess of 'em. Not a one popped through. I think we planted them upside down. :(

Awesome work! The bowl reminds me of one my high school bf made for me! Wish I had that skill!

I've been finding outdoor activities to do. Hiking new trails, running at new parks, kayaking, camping...best summer I've had in a long while.

Tulips can be tough as the ground needs to be below freezing for a certain amount of time or they won’t come up. I planted daffodils, forest bells, blue bells, rebunculus, freesias, gladiolias, crocus, anemone and hyacinth. I also got 100 unknowns given to me so we’ll see what they are. I’m excited.

I have been gardening, taking walks, and working on my home projects. The gym recently opened up so I am going back now. I rarely watch tv but due to being home so much, I have been watching Hulu and Netflix.

I just ordered an adult coloring book + colored pencils 😁 🎨

What coloring book and what type of pencils? 😃

I finally finished a picture in Jess Volinski's "Colorful Creations, Positively Inspired," which I've had for a few years. It's a beautiful book with inspiring quotes, but I don't think I really enjoy coloring.

I have a set of Staedtler colored pencils, but I'm wondering if another type would be better.

Turns out I am pretty ok at masonry work. I wanted a backyard fire pit. I studied how to do it right, put my plans on paper and got to work. My husband helped me excavate, do cuts, and install the light poles but other than that, I did all the work. It’s not quite done but just about.
