My mini-goal is to log-in every day for a month. I am on day 17.14

Right, I'm going to commit to this after all. I would like to be not obese for my birthday. I think it's doable (only just). What better present can I give myself than my health?17

My mini goal right now is getting out of the 240s, and to complete a 5 mile hike next weekend! I'm getting there!11

I have a spreadsheet where I have listed a whole heap of milestones and mini-goals, and I track in both lbs and kgs so that I get more chances to pat myself on the back!
Right now I'm at 170.1 and excited to see the 160s appear on the scale. At 168lb my BMI will be 24.9, that's the big thing I am working towards. My reward will be a few hours doing a closet cleanout (yes I consider this fun!) and trying on session with some of my smaller clothes.
Mini goals are the bomb. Today I weighed in at 167.6, BMI of 24.9. I am so happy and motivated to keep going. And I have the holiday weekend to do my closet cleanout! I know that sounds sad but I'm trying to make the most of a stay at home July 4th.
My next goal is to have lost 10% of my body weight, which will come at 166.1.13 -
My mini goal is to #MOVEdaily...to engage in physical activity that I enjoy daily (7000 steps or more).7

What is motivating me is success. Recently, I have had co-workers mention that I look thinner. Still have a long way to go but I am so tickled when someone says I look good. I am thinking that maybe those people are actually seeing how baggy my clothes are these days, too.11

Sister Sue, That is right where I am too! I have been bouncing at the 170.4-173.2 Just want to see that 6 number in place of that 7.5 -

I recently went from obese to overweight and psychologically made we feel so much more in control. Goal is normal range and it has been so tough just hanging at the same weight! URG! So good that you made the commitment that is a huge step.7 -
I'm three and a half pounds away from being in the "overweight" category, as opposed to "obese". My mini goal is to get into "overweight" category by the end of the month, and to walk 100 miles this month. (Intentional walks, not just daily steps around the house!)14

Getting my wedding and engagement rings & my Nan's ring back on.. I've gained 2stone since wedding in 2018.. ;(5

I'm holding steady, but I'm also working like a horse in harness on a hill to get this house painted. I am promised that I can get into the remaining bedroom tomorrow at noon to finish the painting, which I very much want to do. And I have a mirror to hang, and some art to hang, and her curtains to hang and tiebacks to place, and her decorative shelves to place, and her rug to put down, so that Monday when she sees her room it's all pretty and just needs her bed, dresser, desk, and... my dear Girlfriend, to be complete.6

To get through the 4th weekend with my diet intact! LOL6

Agreed! I wish you the best!3 -
I decided two weeks ago I want to run a half marathon. I don’t know when. Probably in 2021 with how Covid keeps shifting things around. Anyway, I already run several times a week, but this morning I ran my longest distance ever. 8 miles. It was tough and i was dragging towards the end, but I did what I set out to do.
My mini goal is really mini. Lose 1 more pound. Just 1 single solitary lb. That will put me at a total loss of 150 lbs! I can’t believe it! (Although, today’s the 4th so yeah, I’m gonna have a set back for a couple day 😂).20 -
I achieved my goal of getting past 75# in weight loss by July 4th. My next goal is to pass 100# in weight loss by Labor Day. It might be an overreach, but it's something to work HARD for.15

My mini goal is to leave the 150s for good this time and I'm so close. Hit my last goal of moving from the obese to overweight range and it was magic!11
-
1. 5 lbs left until i'm only considered overweight for BMI and not obese.
2. 6.9 lbs until i'm halfway to my ultimate goal weight!11 -
My weight loss has been so slow (like 1.5lbs per month) that my mini goals are tiny too. Next up, I want my weight to start with 96 instead of 97kg. I’m less than a pound away from that. Every number away from 100 is a big win.
The upside of operating in kg personally but in pounds on MFP forums is that I can set milestones and goals in both units, so next up are:
Under 97kg
Under 212,5lbs (so it rounds up to 210 instead of 215)
Under 96,21kg (my next Happy Scale milestone)
Under 96kg
Under 210lbs
Under 95kg (this is the first really big milestone where my weight would round up to 90 instead of 100)
I’m absolutely going to celebrate these and feel like the success kid meme everytime I reach one of these.
Most of all, I really want to hit all these goals by the end of August. I want my weekly loss rate to be closer to 1lb than zero.
Boom, my trendweight hit 96,94kg this morning, so done with the first goal.
Loss rate is picking up pace too, and at current rate of 0,8lbs per week I would hit my majorly huge milestone of 89,9kg five days before my birthday in November. That’s 5 days to spare, and there’s stil room for my loss rate to bounce up. I have enough to lose (about 40lbs) to support losing 1-1,5lbs per week for now, so we’ll see how the timeline settles.7 -
Current mini-goal is to leave the 260's behind for the 250's. I suspect that after I finish moving (Tomorrow, finally!) I will have a whoosh as the stress is removed.12
