Married and friendly thread?
Any
a) happily married
b) just plain ol' married
c) disgruntledly married
d) married but separated but remained roommates
e) married and fully separated
f) married but I got served or I served him/her
people who are also friendly, the type that talks to strangers on the bus are welcome to participate here.
"I love my spouse" is a give in this thread...I guess at least for types a and b as listed above.
You hope nothing but 100% platonic banter. You wanna shoot the breeze and distract yourself from hunger spasms or you're just counting down to your next workout, please come in.
Groups d,e,f we know you're extra motivated to shape up but you can't quite participate in the singles thread yet, this is the thread for you
Let's talk about anything. Go!

Whuh? This is MFP, there are no "married and friendly" threads, only single and want to hookup and "married, looking for an MFP wife/husband" threads. Usually in the form of DMs, not always, but mostly.10

I am only an observer of this place you call "Chit-Chat". I observe (sometimes with popcorn) the drama that takes place and collect the anecdotes for later on what "not to do".
It is quiet now, but just you wait.. more drama always finds its way here (much to the chagrin of our delightful mods, I'm sure).
Also, yes. I am married.6 -
Everyone is single on MFP; best dating app ever!

Oh my gosh. All of this has me on the edge of my seat. I’m a “b”, probably be an “a” if we weren’t working from home and seeing each other 24/7 since March.
I’m dying at the gifs. Good god keep them coming.2 -

I feel like this says one thing but means something else
Maybe I’ve just been here too long5 -
You're new here aren't you?
You know... I started this thread with good intentions like "Oh man some people here clearly consider this a dating app but there's also so many good 'pals' here are that clearly just looking for support and friendship like me"
And as I was writing the post I realize oh man! this thread could be trouble lol that's why I posted it in the form of a question.
While I do have a big sense of humor. I am also serious about connecting with other fun loving fitness oriented people married or not.7 -

The relative anonymity of a forum certainly does seem to give folks permission to behave outside how they would IRL situations. I’m sure there are studies on it and on how authentic community is or isn’t online. And I’m sure it’s similar in other types of forums.
I think approaching things like this with a bit of honesty, sensibility and a good sense of humour is probably the way to go. MFP was made for non-medical health support but doesn’t mean there can’t be some goofiness along the way! 🙃🙂4 -

Honesty is definitely a big factor in making online friendships work. When you get in a fitness and wellness zone people irl get sick of talking about this stuff hence I think this is a great community to accomplish that.5 -

We are a troublesome group, but mostly harmless.4 -

I enjoy the humor and the want to be "friendly" and not end up with d*ck pics in your inbox from wanting to be friends with someone
Here's to being friendly about health and wellness!4 -
This is where all the simps are.2

Start and end each day with I.L.Y.
Don't cheat
Take an interest in her interests
Don't bogart the marital responsibilities, work as a team.
Support her endeavours
Find unique ways to compliment that don't sound "obligatory".
Those got me through 13, but wasn't enough for 14. Best I got bro.15
