Due to lack of knowledge, I took too many years to almost get here. Now, I'm thinking of being a personal trainer!! =D

MFP is a little off- I started in August, 2019 weighing 251 pounds. On July 1 I weighed in at 198. I’m finally at the place where I’ve lost more weight than I still have to lose......over the hump!

Found an old photo of me at my heaviest. I carried a lot of the excess weight around my middle and completely lost my waist, not to mention my posture was terrible. Those gray pants were a size 18 and I was already well on my way to a size 20. My health was spiraling downwards fast. It would be another year and a half until I finally got my act together and got back to a healthy weight and started exercising regularly for the first time in my sedentary life. 43 pounds later my pants are size 10, my obesity related health issues have been reversed, exercise improved my posture and I got my waist back! It’s a good reminder of what I will not allow myself to go back to. The biggest difference is in how I feel, I used to feel tired all the time, run down, had chronic pain, no energy or drive. Now I know what my body is capable of and enjoy challenging myself and have the energy to do anything I want all the time, no more chronic aches and pains, I feel like I’m being the best version of myself I can possibly be and it’s been an amazing journey! Go out there and reach for those goalzzzz you can accomplish them if you are persistent and keep your eyes on the prize!

I stated working out in March... (before I'd occasionally go for a walk/do a youtube yoga video), this is the middle of March vs today - the weights are only 1lb apart
