Hi, I'm feeling very nervous as I've never posted before, let alone a before/after. I was browsing everyone else's pics and thought I couldn't post because I'm not at my goal yet. Then I realised what a visible transformation I've gone through and that I absolutely could still post!
What strikes me is not just my physical change, but change in attitude too. Even though at my very thinnest I look great, you can see that I used to be shy and lacked confidence, whereas years of experience have taught me to be much more outgoing, bold, and generally happier - despite not reaching my target yet (I would like to regain the 60kg number on the scale from my youth!)

Total loss of 5st 5lb (75lbs) in 7 months π, Starting at 18st 2.8lb at the beginning of January and having just gone past my goal of 13st 0lb on Monday. I'm thinking i will just carry on losing those extra lbs whilst im motivated to.
My fitness pal has completely proven that i can eat what i want, when i want, as long as im counting those calories! Im currently so happy, but going to reassess my target and potiently go down to 11st 7lb.
This journey has been a rollercoaster of emotions and seemed so impossible at the start, it just goes to show what is possible when you put your mind to it!
Stay motivated and stay positive !

I have 8 lbs to go I want to be between 130 & 135 . Iβm 5β1 Wasnβt easy but took me almost 1 yr. you can do it, I have been to many nutritional Drβs but not one helped me all they wanted to do was push pills ! I have IBS so this has been a journey to eat healthier in addition to weight loss . I eat as much organic & grass fed meats as I can afford, use my food scale & only go out to dinner to eat anything I want 2x a yr my b-day & my grandma b-day . But I found my body doesnβt do well with sugar any longer . As I used to eat lots of chocolate & deserts .Has been whole life style change Iβm feeling more flexible enabling me to exercise now . Never going back to fat thighs painfully rubbing together !20

Today is my one year anniversary!
In January of 2019 I went gluten free, in July of 2019 I visited the ER and found out I have gallstones. After meeting with a surgeon, he said I could avoid surgery for many years if I adjusted my dietβno red meat, no pork, basically high fat foods. So, in my attempts to not have surgery I started back on the weight loss bandwagon. What I didnβt realize on that day was how much I would enjoy being thin and in shape. Today, I can walk for miles and miles, even run-I ran a 5K! I can run up 50-60 flights of stairs without stopping, I have an incredible amount of energy, and I really like the way I look.
How did I accomplish my goals: Eat Less, Move More. It really is CICO, plain and simple. No need for Keto or crazy hard workout videos. Count your calories and walk.
Height: 5 foot 2
Starting Weight: 190 pounds. 2XL shirts and Size 16 pants
Current Weight: 124 pounds. Size Small Shirts and Size 4/6 pants
Original Goal Weight: 135 by today 8/8/20
New GW: 120 by 12/31/20
Total Loss: 66 pounds, 4 shirt and pant sizes

Finally finishing my diet/cut. I started my diet and weight training one year ago and seems like i got where i wanted to get. I also started to eat way more healthy than before and dropped many bad habits on the way too.
It feels good to finally reach this goal as this dieting started having effects like i was hungry and though about food all the time, my energy levels were low, my mood was crappy and few other things.
I was in ~500 calorie deficit most of the time, had 5 workouts per week and did little bit of light cardio at the end too and lost about 0.3-1kg (0.7-2.2lbs) per week. At the end i added refeed days once per week, which were helpful. I also noticed that i stopped or at least majorly slowed down progressing and gaining strength/size in last five months. My "old" age could also be an factor though :]
Tomorrow i will start reverse diet to get to my maintenance calories and drop most of the cardio out too. Then i can fully concentrate on my strength workouts and also get better results too. I gained much experience related to health/nutrition/eating in this journey and thankfully dropped many bad habits on the way too!
And sorry about my English, it's not my first language.
Timeframe: About one year
Weight from 105kg (231lbs) to 62kg (137lbs)
Height: 183cm (6foot)
Age: 42

@xDARKKi WOW - you look amazing but the fact that you feel amazing is so awesome! What a steel minded amount of dedication, good for you, and what an inspiration to other men!!!!!!! And no need to apologize for your English, you're so far ahead of many people (I mean, we in the US!!) as we're kinda lazy in the language learning department.... =>2 -
from a size 16 to a size 2. I feel like a completely new person and cannot imagine my life without weight lifting and fitness. I'm on a cut right now, trying to lower my fat percentage!79 -

RunsWithBees wrote: Β»Found an old photo of me at my heaviest. I carried a lot of the excess weight around my middle and completely lost my waist, not to mention my posture was terrible. Those gray pants were a size 18 and I was already well on my way to a size 20. My health was spiraling downwards fast. It would be another year and a half until I finally got my act together and got back to a healthy weight and started exercising regularly for the first time in my sedentary life. 43 pounds later my pants are size 10, my obesity related health issues have been reversed, exercise improved my posture and I got my waist back! Itβs a good reminder of what I will not allow myself to go back to. The biggest difference is in how I feel, I used to feel tired all the time, run down, had chronic pain, no energy or drive. Now I know what my body is capable of and enjoy challenging myself and have the energy to do anything I want all the time, no more chronic aches and pains, I feel like Iβm being the best version of myself I can possibly be and itβs been an amazing journey! Go out there and reach for those goalzzzz you can accomplish them if you are persistent and keep your eyes on the prize!

Height 5β11β Age 45
Starting weight 209 lbs
Current weight 167 lbs

Just wanted to say congratulations to everyone that has ever posted here, and thank you as well. I've looked through these success stories for a long time and they're all very inspirational. Although I'm not finished yet I felt like sharing mine so far.
Im 6' and started out at 350 lbs, I was wearing a size 4x-5x shirts and my pants around a 54
Im currently down to 208 lbs but need to drop more fat and build more muscle. Im wearing an xl shirt and im not positive on shorts (my fishing shorts I wear are 38 but stretchy waist and a little too big, I don't like buying clothes lol)
Seeing all these posts gave me hope and helped me realize what I was capable of.
Hope everyone has a great day and continue all the hard work you're putting in!78 -
Stopped smoking
Counted macros and calories
Started crossfit
