What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

I bought some shorts which are allegedly the same fit as my favorite slacks, and are definitely the same size on the label, but they are too small. Mini goal: have those shorts fit!
The downside, when I reach that goal, is that my slacks will be too big.6 -
Climbing gyms are open again. So I can re-start my goal of getting to v5 standard.
I climbed today. It was brilliant fun.5 -
To get from Obese to Overweight BMI (11 lbs) by my half birthday in 6 weeks.8

Fitting in a smaller size of brand new blue jeans I have hanging in my closet6

Yes this2 -
Mini goal just fit comfortable into my size 8 Old Navy denim shorts. It's very snug right now. Last time it was comfortable and even lose on me was summer 2018. Also, I'm not asking for much, I just want to lose 1inch from my hips every month.😊6

I've taken up biking and i want to not have a muffin top with bike shorts .... I've lost 50 but think another 20 will get me into the zone11

I'm doing the same thing. I've been biking again for three months after a three year hiatus. The muffin top is getting smaller, but is still there. I'm also thinking another 20 will help. I feel the need to wear other athletic shorts over my bike shorts to hide my muffin top!3 -
hit my min goal of 90kg awhile ago yay.. now at 80kg so next mini goal is 75 :-)8
-
I'm currently on 87 kg. I want to reach 80 kg. I've taken pics and I'd love to see the difference side by side.3

Its realistic for me to get to 300 pounds by mid to late September. Been averaging just over 2 pounds per week and have lost 25 pounds over that last 2 months. That is the mini goal I am chasing.15
-
Initially to get BMI under 30. Am currently 31.913
-
to fit into my jeans by winter6
-
I just want to be able to handle intermittent fasting.6
-
To fit back in my fall clothes if I can break through this plateau! I need to lose 15 pounds by October for them to fit me well.7
-
To be able to wear the jeans I was wearing yesterday without a muffin top/love handles. I took a photo for comparison; I wonder if this will come before or after I get into normal bmi (which is coming up fast, whoop whoop...).

After my weigh in today left me at 24st 1lb my mini goal is to drop into the 23 stone numbers....not much of a goal but pretty big psychologically...10

I've been holding at 207-208 for a week now, so it's time for a new mini-goal. I don't particularly like using weight as a goal, b/c my overall goal is 1 lb/week already. I think I need something that is about a 2 week goal, like averaging 3.2 mi/day for 12 of 14 days--starting today. I hope I remember to check back here on August 9.7

I've been trying to lose the same (last) 10 lbs for about 4 years, and I'm determined to get it done this time. I've been quarantining/housebound for 5 months, and we finally have a mini vacation planned, which I'm using as my motivation.8

Chasing 250 pounds... and for the first time today, the "in five weeks you'll weigh" number showed below 250 when I logged my food.17

Isn't it great when that happens? It suddenly feels quite differently achievable.5 -

It IS! It makes you realize that it's not so far away, really.

Me too, my plan is to work out my emotions also. I enrolled in online college last year and gain 20 pounds due to my crazy schedule and quarantined with kids. Now with no work this summer, I drive bus. Thankfully I had online classes happening that keep my mind busy from 6/1 until yesterday. Fall classes online don't start until 8/17 so I figure now is a good time to focus on me and get my mind, body an fitness in order. My summer class load was college algebra witch ate me alive... ( I don't know what I am going to do I need those credits. I was so depressed and clueless taking that class now to focus on the important stuff and clean the cobwebs off this account and get my workout gear back out and to use.
Best of luck obtaining to your goal .
My personal goal is 180 (currently) and last physical I was at close to 220
Starting hard and fresh today.
It's hard to believe in 2016 weighed 160 and I worked really hard to get there but I think that was too small for my body frame but I was just so in the zone I wanted to see how much more I could do, looking back at pictures now I looked sickly thin- but felt really good. Having goals in life is really important we need something to work toward and keeping us motivated.
Take care and keep healthy!!

185 pounds. Recently weight loss has been slower than in cooler months probably due to nice weather, great BBQ, and cold beer. 😁5

My next mini goal is to get to Onderland by Labor Day. It is achievable.8

Back on July 18...
Lose 10 lbs (2.6 lbs to go!) I've lost 10.7 lbs as of today!
Get back to Onederland (about 15 12 lbs to go)
I'll add a new one- Down 20 lbs (since restarting) - seems a little far away. BUT if I remember from the last time I lost weight, at about 20 lbs was when I could start noticing and when clothes started to fit better, or get loose (9.3 lbs to go)

Weighed in this morning at 163.9 so I have passed my threequarters-of-the-way mini goal. YAY. My spreadsheet tells me I've also passed the 20lb milestone! My next goal is to crack 10kgs lost (at 73.9kg/162.6lb) which is also my next Happy Scale increment. Chugging along 🚂
10kgs lost ✅
Next mini-goal is the 90% milestone on Happy Scale.

YEAH Celebration... but in healthy way ;-) You've got this 75kg next!!!cambiel2015 wrote: »Initially to get BMI under 30. Am currently 31.9
We're in the same boat. Actually.... I'm in a boat or two behind you lol - I'm currently at 33.6 BMI UGH..... long road ahead... but one I must and WILL travel. After my weigh in today left me at 24st 1lb my mini goal is to drop into the 23 stone numbers....not much of a goal but pretty big psychologically...
psychologically is HUGE - it can motivate you more than seeing actual numbers change. Keep it up brother, and it'll happen.I've been trying to lose the same (last) 10 lbs for about 4 years, and I'm determined to get it done this time. I've been quarantining/housebound for 5 months, and we finally have a mini vacation planned, which I'm using as my motivation.
Hi there SMB - I feel the same way.... trying to lose those same pounds over and over again. BUT now, I am determined more than ever to first... get under 220, then 5lb increments 215... I want to hit 210 by my 58th b-day end of Sept.mullanphylane wrote: »185 pounds. Recently weight loss has been slower than in cooler months probably due to nice weather, great BBQ, and cold beer. 😁
Yes, these warmer months I just want to stay inside in the a/c. I love fall, spring and here in Alabama... even the winters are mild enough3 -
in 2018 I competed in my first powerlifting meet in the 90kg weight class. I'm at 181 pounds now and intend to complete some time next year in the 75kg class which means I have another 16 pounds to go.8

I am at 17 lbs down right now. Under 200 is such a major goal for me 197 will be overweight opposed to obese. 209 today. 12 lbs to go.16
