HEAVIEST weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
    Total Weight lost: 30 pounds
Time it took to lose: ~6 months
How long in maintenance: Since July 2018 -- but with some fluctuation outside of goal range.
Maintenance weight range: 142 - 148 (and not sure that's the right answer)

Average weight recorded from 2017 (12 months): 163.8
Average weight recorded from 2018 (12 months): 150.7
Average weight recorded from 2019 (12 months): 144.8

Average weight recorded from December 2019: 145.0
Average weight recorded from January 2020: 143.7
Average weight recorded from February 2020: 144.2
Average weight recorded from March 2020: 145.9
Average weight recorded from April 2020: 148.5
Average weight recorded from May 2020: 149.2
Average weight recorded from June 2020: 147.3

    Average weight Week of...
    June 29 - July 5 ..... 146.7
    July 6 - 12 .............. 146.9
    July 13 - 19 ............ 146.5
    July 20 - 26 ..............
    July 27 - August 2 .....

Success of the week: I continue to slowly get back deeper into my maintenance range. Funny thing; the TrendWeight website now shows me slowly gaining. A friend dropped off a hiking map yesterday, and I gave him some goodies from the garden. He said I'm the trimmest he's ever seen me. I'm no trimmer than I've been in the past, and he thought it might be because I was in shorts and a t-shirt instead of work clothes. I don't think the BIA feature of my scale gives me really accurate information on body fat %, but I think it's logical that I can look at trends, but my body fat appears to be dropping rapidly the last five weeks.

Struggle of the week: Same struggles I write about every week - not liking that I have been in the upper portion of my maintenance range (or just above it) for too long.

Success: Did great on all my fitness goals this week. Ran 4xs this week, including a nice 6 mile run on Saturday. Logged all my food all week. While Sunday's weight is nearly the lowest weight all week, I didn't have a single weigh in above 175 this week. So perhaps I'm still eating at a deficit. But my plan is to keep on keeping on and only worry if the weight creeps up - I'm not going to fuss if it keeps going down. :)

Struggles: No struggles this week. I'm feeling good about the quantity and quality of the food I'm eating.

    July 11: 113 (trend 112.8)
    July 18: 112.5 (trend 112.7)
    July 25:

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: My weight is just at the top end of my range, and I'm still working on getting it back down towards the middle. I did a bit more cooking and eating more fruit this week again, and managed to get 20k steps with a long walk one day, which brought my weekly activity level up to 94k.

    July 12 - 65.0 kgs (143.3 lbs)
    July 19 - 63.6 kgs (140.2 lbs)
    July 26 -

Successes/challenges: I've been doing fine with my eating and weight, but have been slipping with exercise, sleep and time management habits. Up until COVID crisis I had such great habits, yet I've let them slip, and I don't really have any good reason because its not lack of time or opportunity or stress (we have had a relatively easy time of the COVID crisis where I live Australia, not nearly as bad as people in many other countries). I need to give myself a kick up the bum, but have also been thinking/saying this for months now and every time I get better for one week, the next is a slide backwards. I guess I'm at the point were "constant vigilance" is hard to keep up. On the bright side, my eating is fine and weight is fine so no major harm being done there.

Successes: Walking/hiking more than I have since beginning of weight loss journey 1/2/2016. Began to turn little bump on scale around.

Modifying/playing with diet to see what helps discomfort. Labs tomorrow & appt following week. Hoping for the best.

Struggles: Worried lower fiber diet will lead me to gain. Bloating. I usually gain at this point in summer- hoped doing significantly more exercise would fix that but I seem to retain more water... all will become clear in time.

Success of the week: I am now really close to the middle of my maintenance range again. I'd like to get closer to the bottom, but this is fine. I am increasing the distance of my runs. I had a great success with my "new" vertical smoker. Still eating lots of fresh cucumbers (lemon cucumbers and the regular green slicing kind) every day from the garden, and I have started to get some ripe figs.

Struggle of the week: I didn't get in a hike because I was a wimp in the 95-degree heat. And, like @GregInORL I have been made aware how much I've been relying on the data provided by my watch!

Struggles: My physician took me off blood pressure medicine about 7 weeks ago (after a fainting spell because my blood pressure was too low!). I've been monitoring it since and this week it started creeping up and I was getting tension headaches. This morning it was just fine, but I need to keep an eye on it. Blood pressure might always be an issue for me, no matter what shape I am in. :(

@mtaratoot and @GregInORL I haven't had any problems with my garmin watch, just the app and website. I have just uploaded my runs from the watch to the Strava website and I can look at the data there. And it is still on the watch and all the data will sync shen rhey get their issues resolved.

Yeah, I am thinking about signing up for Strava to access my data. I'll give it a few more days.

There's no way that it's Strava that mounted the DDoS attack on Garmin, right?

    July 27th: 48.8 kg (trend 48.3 kg)

    Successes/struggles:
We went away in the motorhome again last week – similar routines as last time – lots of walking but no bike rides, no cardio routines, some food treats. The weigh-in on Saturday (first morning at home) was only 48.2 kg. However, family came visiting over the weekend, so more food, less exercise, etc. So this morning the scale was up. However, this week is a quiet one again.

It was really good seeing all the grandchildren – haven’t seen them since February. Also, it was my son’s birthday on Saturday. He got very emotional – it’s his first birthday since his diagnosis, and all these occasions are very difficult for him. He has been having treatment (chemo) all through the lockdown, but his mental health is suffering, not helped by “shielding”.

We are lucky that none of us has suffered from the virus these last few months. My daughter thinks she caught it but she wasn't badly affected, and the rest of us have been fine. I try to count my blessings and not worry too much about the future.

    July 12 158.09 💚
    July 19 157.89 💚
    July 26 157.84 💚

Successes: Walking/hiking more than I have since beginning of weight loss journey 1/2/2016.
Struggles: I tracked all food eaten - as usual - but ate way way way over maintenance . Usually I can figure out why & prevent it. Wasn’t able to today.

So, I’m going to “white knuckle” it the next 3 days. That’s how long it takes me (cold turkey) to overcome appetite increase due to sugar/salt/refined carbs. I’m going to give myself a different reward for each of the 3 days - to enable me to overcome powerful addictive feelings. I rarely use rewards, but I feel like I need to do so this time to shift my behavior.

Time it took to lose: Started March 2020 (this time around)
How long in maintenance: 2 months
    Maintenance weight range: 150ish

Average weight recorded from March: 178.4
Average weight recorded from April: 166.2
Average weight recorded from May: 156.8
Average weight recorded for June: 152.1
    Average weight recorded for July:

    Week of..
    July 7: 151.1
    July 14: 148.8
    July 21: N/A (VACATION!)
    July 28: 150.9

Success/Struggles: So first time I’ve wandered off the reservation while in maintenance, so to speak. Was out of town on vacation for about 10 days. Ate pretty much anything I wanted and had enough adult beverages for the year! Was in a new part of the country I’d never been so I tried EVERYTHING! Only exercised once the whole week and spent like 4 days in the car, but good news is I only gained 3.4 lbs the whole time. I was shocked! I’ve already dropped one of those pounds, too. So even if you go crazy and totally abandon yourself for 10 days, the damage is minimal and quickly resolved! I imagine by the end of the week I’ll be back to my “range” and no worse for wear!

    July 19 - 63.3 kgs (139.6 lbs)
    July 26 - 65.6 kgs (144.6 lbs)

Successes/challenges: Week has been fine, nothing to report. But weight up 5lbs? I don't know how my body so easily goes from the bottom of my range up to the top of it in one week. The only thing I did differently is one less fasting day (I do intermittent fasting, and because my weight was on the low side last week, I dropped from 3 x42hr fasts to 2x42 hr fasts to prevent losing more weight). This is why I have to be so vigilant!

@Luciicul - not sure what the weather is like by you, but we are having a heat wave in the Pacific NW and it's making me retain water like nobody's business. I'm up 3.2 pounds since Thursday.

Success/Struggles: Still figuring out how to successfully transition to maintenance. I am a bit below 16% body fat and think I have probably lost enough weight. But I know from past experience losing it is easier than keeping it off.
