Did you lose anything besides weight?

All my clothes, all my shoes (incredibly, I went down one shoe size), all my bras, and a lot of frustrations! I gained self-esteem and confidence.8

I lost my taste for heavy-butter and grease on crunchy things (potato chips are ok but only in small batches, and I just DON'T like popcorn done in oil and drowning in melted butter (or the pretend-butter they use in movie theatre concession stands - haven't for years now) I'll take it plain air-popped, thanks just the same.
I even out-grew the intermediate weaning-off stage of "Molly McButter" (butter-flavored sprinkles from the baking / spices aisle) as now just a bit too salty. But if you are trying to make the initial switch to air-popped from oil-popped, or air-popped plain from air-popped with lashings of melted butter, I WOULD recommend the Molly McButter as a step-down between the two.

Body dysmorphia.
It took a year and a half, but I can now look in the mirror and see a nice (albeit baggy) figure and not the fat chick who haunted my reflection despite many pounds lost.
After a rebound of several months where instead, I saw “cadaver face”, I am finally just seeing.....me.
And I like Me.
This is a victory.35 -
I nearly lost my dentist after she had the nerve to offer me "injectable beauty"! Listen lady, it took a lot of effort to get those cheekbones back, I'm not having them filled up with podge!22

I lost the ability to say "I'm in shape! Round is a shape!" I also lost a lot of panting and wheezing, as well as those lovely lightheaded feelings after walking across a really hot parking lot.

I need to spend time and read over all of these comments. I can relate with many of these same accomplishments and positive changes. I was 301.8 May '19. I lost to 234.8 March '20. Now 5 months later I've fluctuated up and down to about 252 now. I'd like to get to 150ish (I'm 5'5", 43yo woman).
I'm struggling with staying motivated. It's bizarre to think that I can lose so much weight and then find myself not caring as much anymore to continue on. Family struggles and 2020 crap is mostly the catalyst for my weight gain and lack of self-discipline.
I lose by calorie-counting and prayer. I've had no surgeries. I do some exercise but just recreationally with friends/family occasionally.9 -
I lost a lot of money buying a new wardrobe since the old one most definitely doesn't fit.
I've slowed down the inevitable joint replacements I will need given I've had arthritis since I was child. My knees are still *kitten* but they are... less *kitten*?8 -
Lost some rolls on my back 😁. Lost clothes of course, and lost bad health.8

I lost most of my taste for greasy food! As well as all my XXL, and XL clothes, and most importantly - I lost a chin! I only have one now.8

You mean like my mind? No, I've managed to stay intact come hail or high water. Good food and good company fixes everything. It really works. I gave all of you inspirings because that's just the way I roll.5

Those would make a really cool quilt if you didn't have anyone to donate them to.7 -
