I'm 5'7 and was wondering what others goal weights are.
mine is 140 since thats the lowest I've ever been. though even back then I still felt kind of chubby.

Mine changes based on my body composition. Right now it's 130-135lbs. Profile pic is 1322

I’m 5ft 8 and want to get to 140 currently 163 x3

I'm 5'2 and my goal weight is 130. I'd love to be 120, but haven't ever been able to get close to that. 🙃1

Trying to lose 40lbs. The extra weight is starting to effect my everyday activities. I’m just feeling heavy all the time. I find keeping track of my food keeps my focused.2

170. Im big boned..and old4

Originally my goal was 69kg/152lb. Got there, realised I was still a long way from what I wanted. My new goal is 63kg/138lbs.2

I am 5’7”. My first goal was 175 which I have finally made. My next one is 155 which is the lowest adult weight I can remember even seeing- though very briefly. After that I will see- I suspect it will depend more on my visual appearance/body composition to me than the scale number.5

My goal weight is 135. When I was an athlete years ago, at 17% body fat, I weighed around 150 from muscle. But now, I am looking to be leaner than I was then, though still toned. If it means weighing more to obtain the physique I want—then at the end of the day, I don’t really care if I end up in the 140s.3

I'm 5'8" and my current weight is 318lbs. I'm hoping to get down to 180 by my 40th bay next October and then I'll see? That's how much I weighed on my wedding day and I looked damn good in my dress, so I'd be happy with that.6

I'm 47 and weigh 216 now and I'd like to get down to 175. I got there a few years ago and then lost focus and gained it all back and then some.
Lowest was 150 many years ago and I don't think that's sustainable for me anymore.2 -
I'm 38 and started at 240. I'm down to 200 now and looking for at least 50-60 more. I would love to see a healthy BMI.2
-
I'm honestly not sure. When I was younger, I was around 58kg/128lb and that was potentially too small.
Now I'm in my 30s and my body has changed from having a baby, so I'm thinking in the ballpark of 75kg/165lb.
I'm going to wait and see because my body composition is different now.3 -
Well.... I feel like my goal of 160 is not enough when I see all of these goals of 130-140.... How are you all doing towards your goal? I did great 2 years ago for my daughters wedding and once that was over, I went NUTS!! Trying to stay on track now for myself:)2

140
I don't remember ever being that weight since I suspect I just zipped along past it in middle school or earlier, but it's in the middle of the normal BMI range so it's a good start. My doc thinks 170-175 is going to be more appropriate, even though that's in the overweight range. I haven't asked him what he's basing that on other than looking at me and maybe feeling some of my muscle mass. Maybe I just carry my current weight well enough that he hasn't thought it through.
We'll see. I already am eagerly awaiting recomp time. Once I get there it'll be more about inches and fitness progress than pounds.3 -
I'm aiming for 140 too. I turned 40 this year and don't want to get too skinny as i think a little weight looks healthy. If only I could get there though!3
-
Im 46 and I’ve been 132-135 for the past 5 years. I like it but I’m a runner and lean works for me. I also have very few curves - even less after kids 😂3
-
155. I'm maintaining here, feeling satisfied and able to eat to fuel my steps per day. I've tried lower weights and eventually gain back. Now I'm keeping healthy and working with the body I've got to naturally. I like to log calories and excersize, gives me confidence and more understanding of my energy needs; what foods work best for my needs.3

@bigdaddyrio Your goal of 160 is perfect. Height is only one measurement to gauge what the right weight is for you. You have to consider age, births, heredity, bone structure--these all play into what weight is most healthy for you. I'm 5' 7", but also 58 y.o., two births, medium bone structure... Have I ever weighed 130-140? Yes, in my very early 30's when I was busy chasing 2 kids and buying into the waif-look is healthy myth of that era. Now I am working my way to a toned 160, hoping to get there and maintain a healthy muscle blend. There is not one magic number that is realistic for all of us. You do you and feel healthy! Wishing you all the best!2 -
150-160 for now. Last time I was those weights I thought I was heavy-- but I thought I was heavy at 135 and look... wrong? in those pictures. I wanna see what I look like at the weights I held the longest before deciding if lower is right for me.3

I’m 5ft 7. Currently 164lb and goal is 140lb. My BMI is 25.8 so I want to get well into the normal range as I enjoy running and feel too heavy to do it comfortably at the moment. I’m not very muscly so BMI is probably fairly accurate for me.1

5ft 8 and 150 with muscle is my goal!1

Currently 173, 1st goal is 154. I will hopefully maintain for a little while at that weight and see how I feel.2

I was 165 for most of my adult life, and thought I looked GREAT.
Then I found out that 160 is overweight for 5'7".
My current goal is 150. I am able to maintain that easily.0 -
I'm about 5'7 1/2. I want to get down to 150-155 range. I'm muscular, curvy and I have a large frame and there is no way I could get down below 140. I'd look awful and unhealthy. Also, I'm almost 50 and I like wine and cheese too much.2

159ish is the upper limit of "Healthy" for BMI at this height. BMI is notoriously less than clinically helpful for populations who are not males of Caucasian origin.
So if you're 160, I wouldn't necessarily stress based on that metric alone. Instead I'd check in with my healthcare team about what my weight loss goals should look like for me. Speaking of which...4 -
My first big goal is to get to 200 - it's going to take quite a while to get there. I think I'd like my final weight range to be somewhere near 170ish? I won't know for sure until I get closer to that weight to know what I feel comfortable with.1
