    Day, Weight, Comment
    08/15 - 154.5
08/16 - 156.1 - I really have no idea where this came from. I had a very small breakfast, a few bites of a charcuterie board fam threw together, and 2 small ribs with some cooked spinach. And a crunch bar for lunch because it was that or nothing and I was getting nauseous. Probably not enough water but couldn't keep up - working outside in a heat advisory. Still drank a lot more water than I normally would if I were inside during the day. DOMS are still around pretty bad so working on that today again.

    Previous Day's Comments
08/15 - Holy DOMS am I sore! I nearly fell out of bed and then I had to use to disabled bar things by my toilet to be able to get down to it without collapsing or crying from soreness. I suppose today is my rest day and I'll be doing some stretching. Didn't hit my step goal yesterday but my legs huuuurt and I gave myself some grace. Goal will be to hit my steps and move some of this soreness out of my system today.

It could still be from the DOMS. In the past my weight has climbed over the course of a couple of days and the only thing I was able to relate to was DOMS in my legs. Leg workouts are such a killer but in such a good way!

Yes the question we all ask ourselves when making desserts. Do I really need all this!
DIL made the cheese cake which was yummy using almond flour, crushed pecans, butter, etc instead of graham crackers. I liked it. She served it for a friend of theirs that lives alone that they invited over for his birthday Friday night and sent an extra piece home with him and then served it to us Saturday night and sent an extra piece home with us. She was just left with one final slice as leftovers. Smart combining 2 separate guests and diminishing the chance of leftovers.
Yes Covid19 is cramping our social too ... interfacing with my family only (adult children no kiddos) is getting old. But I still enjoy seeing them!

    I'm in for round #123!

I've done this before, successfully; I know that it can be done. My challenge is ignoring a hurting body, and/or not getting up and moving-because *that* is more comfortable. I want ME back. Oh, and I also signed up for a virtual 5k today (to be completed in Sept) and I'm doing a *live* 5k in Dec. If I don't want to be thoroughly embarrassed, guess I'd better move my bum!

I’ve been struggling with bad back pain for two years, it is debilitating. I had been maintaining my weight successfully regardless and then CoVid hit and I lost control! Well, no more. I started back on yoga (with physio’s permission), and also following some of the exercise routines from the premium MFP!
You can do this!!!! The pain can bite our booties!
