    Sep 1: *In the August Weight Loss Challenge, I ended the challenge yesterday with scale readings of 155-157. This morning, I got readings of 150.5 and 152. I'm a broken record about my wonky scale, and at this point, I should probably just get a new scale. Ugh. Anyone have scale recommendations?

    I like the weight watchers scale from Costco. It's been trucking along for years.

    @desolate_angel - Thank you! I see one that also measures BMI, bone density, etc. Not much of a data collector, but I guess if I'm going to upgrade, I should look into the ones that provide extra metrics... although just getting the weight number alone gives me anxiety. Don't know if the other metrics will add to the anxiety.

    Heaviest weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
    Original MFP starting weight (January 2018) - 168.2
    August 31 starting weight - 145.8 (10-day average 145.5)
    September goal - 144
    Ultimate goal - Range between 142 - 148

    I report scale weight and (ten day average weight), and I post on Saturdays.

    Total loss for September: Looks like it's pretty much unchanged. I'm at the midpoint of my maintenance range, so being up 0.1 pounds is ok.

    Hi, I am in! Trying to do this with calorie counting, eliminating food after 8 PM, and walking 5 times a week. I have my next follow-up doctor's appointment the end of October and I want to be at a better weight, <200, when I return. Thanks for having this challenge!
