Yesterday was my birthday. My birthday marked my 888th day of my walking 10K streak. How lucky can you get?44

My mum bought me a size 6 skirt and it fit! Granted it was from a brand that notoriously runs big, but the illusion of it made me feel pretty good32

Hubby and I were folding clothes... he picked up a T-shirt I had just bought (cute graphic T from Tractor Supply, $2.50 on clearance!). I saw this funny look on his face and was trying to decide what he was thinking. He slowly set it in my pile as he looked at me and grinned. He didn’t know who’s pile it went in - mine, or our 11 year old daughters!30

My NSV today...the mirror. I've always hated the mirror and what I saw when I looked in it. Today I walked by the mirror, accidently caught a glimpse of myself and I came back, paused, took a second look and smiled. Not because I'm happy with how I look - but because I'm happy with some of the changes that I'm really starting to see.28

My wrists are small enough now that hairbands fresh out of the package only leave a vague red impression (everything leaves an imprint in my skin) rather than a deep welt! And I can spin them around easily. I remember when hairbands would choke the life out of my wrist, so it's a nice NSV, this!22

I can finally fit in underwear/pants that I haven't been able to wear in years. I can also stick by my intermittent fasting schedule without needing reminders on my phone, and I've been able to get at least 250 steps per hour without my FitBit reminding me to move!16

I was able to help my 20 year old son shovel loose dirt (we had to level out where the sewer was replaced in the front yard, because they left it looking like a giant mole had tunneled out to the street) for an hour straight and I am not tired and don't hurt. I haven't been able to do physical work like that for YEARS. I am SO amazed and happy.23

I told myself I wanted to get back into exercising 3-5x a week, preferably 4. I’m currently in graduate school and working full-time, so it’s been easy for me to say “I’m just too busy/tired/whatever other excuse”. I finally told myself to suck it up and fit it in before work, which has also caused me to start laying down earlier. So, it’s been a win-win!25

I was able to move kitchen cabinets and counter tops into my house without getting short of breath and tired.13

I can get a bath towel all the way around my waist with no gaps.
A pair of shorts that were too tight around the middle now need a belt.
A ring that used to be uncomfortably tight is now in danger of falling off if I get too excited and start waving my hands around. 🤩21 -
My work uniform fit just a little less tight around my thighs today.22
-
I achieved a new personal best in walking today - I exceeded 33,000 steps and 22km 🏃🏼♀️😊34

I've gotten so consistent with my morning walks that Siri automatically generated a shortcut for me to set my 30 minute timer for my walk.23

10 weeks ago I couldn't run half a mile without stopping. Last week I ran about 18 miles!36

It’s a gorgeous fall day here today and I ran my fastest 10K yet - 7:11 min/km!
Average of my previous four ~10K this year (since July) has been about 7:50 min/km.
Super excited about my progress!28 -

I've gotten so consistent with my morning walks that my dogs wake me up when it's time 🤣23 -

I wish my cat would do that at the right time, but instead she wakes me up at 4am to be fed lol.10 -
I'm a waitress and I worked a really busy shift yesterday. Normally my knees would have been killing me but they didn't hurt near as bad as I thought they would. I was able to go on my nightly walk last night even after working yesterday. Very thankful I wasn't in pain all night32

I secretly know I finally weigh less than my husband. 🤫50

I feel this! It's been a few years since I worked the restaurant life- Mostly kitchen management, but definitely spent my time in the FOH. And I just remember those long work days and going home after a 12-14 hour day and just wanting to rest my sore knees, legs, ankles, etc. and not wanting to do a thing other than eat, watch TV, and go to bed.
It was a great feeling the day I dropped enough weight the stress on my joints reduced to the point I could and wanted to be active at home. This is definitely an NSV for you-- it will only get better! Keep it up!!16 -
It was 95 degrees on saturday today’s high is 50 raining. I pulled my pants from fall winter 2019/2020 . I’ve lost 31 lbs since early May. they are HUGE I don’t need to unbutton them to use a restroom24

First time not having to slow up to walk23 -
The shirt I bought in the Long Tall Sally closing down sale which showed all my bulges and look terrible on when I bought it back in May/June looks pretty good now. Unfortunately I did not take a bulgy photo, but here is one from this morning:

I went into the office for the first time since march. Someone said "you're TINY!"
I've never been called tiny before!25 -
The second of the three pairs of jeans I bought now fits me, so I have three pairs of jeans now. That makes life a lot easier! Third pair won't even go smoothly up round my hips, though. It's funny, because all three pairs are the same size from the same brand, just different colors.15

I deadlifted 205 today! First time I have broken 200, and I didn't just do it once I did 2 sets of 5. I was on top of the world, I have wanted to get over 200 for so long.
225 here I come28 -
I've been on holiday and doing some hikes with my BF in the Alps. I've been able to complete every single hike within the estimated time given in the official guides, including those with steep inclines.
45lbs ago, I needed at least twice the time estimated.
Not to mention I'm doing hikes now that I wasn't even capable of before (unless 10+ years ago): 500m (1600ft) elevation difference with only a few breaks going up and only slightly painful feet and legs after the descent.19 -
It's not a big deal to anyone else, but you have to understand how certain I was this could never happen. To me, getting bigger was like a law of nature: The sky is blue, water is wet, and I am just going to keep getting fatter till I die. That's how I saw it.
12 weeks ago, I was at the beginning. I decided that 38" waste pants miserable to wear, I put them on the shelf. 36's were comfy and I tried on 35's and found they were snug but wearable. To be honest, it was emotional. I never thought this could happen.
Today my 36's are sagging and uncomfortable to wear, and my 35's are loose but comfy.
After two decades I can fit into 34's. I can't believe it!57
