Now I'm just the person that keeps the house clean, takes care of the kids (who are teenagers) and occasionally he takes me out to eat. He carries on like a bachelor with his hunting, fishing, golfing, pool/billiards league, etc.
This makes me sad.2 -

Thanks - it makes me sad to. I just don't know how to fix "us" We are high school sweethearts and going on 23 years together. We were good until the pandemic hit - now I feel like we are broken. In a way I think he is using his hobbies to cope, while I am hunkered down at home hoping he'll join me.3 -

I find this relatable perhaps that's why it makes me feel sad for you but here's my unsolicited advice. Just talk to him. Communicate your feelings now before its too late.1 -

I have gotten to the point that I need to sit down and tell him how I'm feeling. We've been through so much, I know that we can get through this as long has he's receptive to what I have to say.5 -

@LeannJeffers, I’m sorry you are feeling like this. It sucks! And I swear I’m not over here on my high horse trying to tell you what to do! I’m just telling you what I do, that’s it. I’ve been married for 27 years and we have three teens now. I’ve been married my entire 20’s and 30’s and almost through my 40’s now and I feel like I can just touch a little bit on the subject of creating the type of marriage that is “ happy.” BE THE GIRL you were when he married you. Please don’t torch me for saying that but I feel like a lot of women blast their hubby for not doing those things they did before all while they stop giving a crap about what they look like, stop giving them attention in the sheets, being tired all the time, not showing appreciation for how hard he works, etc. I pretty much work my *kitten* off making sure I’m on top of my hubby’s needs, doing the dirty things we did when we were dating, taking care of myself, making sure the kids aren’t my conversation every moment of the day, doing things he finds fun with him ( NOT EVERY single time but most of the time ) making My family enjoyable meals and keeping it light and fun with music going on the evenings, dancing, cooking, you know, not being a total drag to be around and guess what that gets me???? A man that wants to be around me all the time, takes me out to show his appreciation, basically he bends over backwards to make me happy bc he feels loved, admired and appreciated! It’s work to show real love but love is the time and effort you give to something! I wish for you a happy and exciting marriage from a totally non judgmental perspective! Lots of love to you and your marriage !5

I would never torch you!! I happen to agree with you and agree that I need to become the girl that I once was! Without writing a novel about 2020 I have become a shell of what I used to be. I planned a fun night out last weekend to the great shots golf range and guess what it was like old times! It felt good and was inspiring. I truly believe that if I start moving towards who I used to be it will help us! We have been together for 23 years and have went through hell and back, literally with the lose of our child. Thank you so much for the inspiration and encouragement!!3 -
@LeannJeffers , I am so so sorry. I cannot fathom the heartache. Thank you for taking it the way I’d intended and cheers to “becoming.” That’ll be a fun process👠0

This one bullet is gonna sound bad but, oh well...
When she looks like she could be the model for the “sponsored link: Men try this and never take Viagra again!” Advertisement
She prefers an older pickup with a bench seat so we can sit cheek to cheek.
When she wears her hair up in that bun sorta thing but then pulls out small strands of hair that hang down and sorta frame her face.
I like to floss in the bathroom, not the bedroom as you could probably guess from another thread.
Some days she’ll decide that it’s a no bra day. She may decide to wear an underbewb shirt or a loose tank with dropped armholes to show off sidebewb. She’ll spend the day relaxing, doing her thing, but occasionally when she knows I’m looking she’ll tease me a bit by maybe moving a certain way giving me a little more bewbview.3 -
