    Last year my boy was the Joker and had a lot of fun, we made up our own version of the Joker rather than copy a movie depiction...

    Although for school, we were not allowed to paint his face because kids at the school might be afraid of clowns 🙄... I kid not, so lame...

    But we painted his face after school...

    This year, he's thrown around Sweeny Todd as an original idea 🤷🏽‍♂️...

    Here's part of his costume from last year...
    The jokers club, and he also stole Batmans cape... 😂
    Which we painted ourselves, the cape glows in the dark 🤷🏽‍♂️

    I love Halloween 😁

    That’s so creative, which really is one of the best things of Halloween (and chocolate). I LOVE the Sweeney Todd idea.

    Clowns are freaky though, for real. In Sunday School when I was about 6, they brought in a Clown for whatever kind of fun activity/show and I straight up was uncomfortable. I started crying and then ran out to the sanctuary to sit with my dad. Years later I’ve learned clowns are still creepy AF. Do you all remember John Wayne Gacey Jr? That’s evidence enough for me.

    Since my sister is not okay with her kids trick or treatin' the crazy auntie, aka me, is researching ye olde fashion Halloween treats like popcorn balls and I'm going to make them some goodies from scratch. Because why buy *kitten* when I can make it for 5x the price? Don't know if I'll dress up. I don't have costumes that fit and I'm not really going anywhere. My Halloween mug aka the mug I ended up using year round died so I need to make another one before October.

    As an aside we've got next to no fall stuff left at work anymore and we've Christmas trees getting fluffed up and set up around fake fireplaces and murals. It's wholesale, and more importantly floral wholesale so Halloween isn't really much of anything for us. But all the ho ho crap is making me want to put a skeleton in my office.
