I got over 7 hours of sleep, and I got my workout done!18

Today got insanely stressful and busy at dinner time and for some reason (ha!) I just couldn't face making hot and sour soup from scratch and filling and frying crab rangoons before I could eat. But I keep the makings of a safe meal in the house, and so I had that and was able to even let myself have a before-bed treat to indulge my carb craving, which helps me with the stress.20

More energy, feeling more rested and recovered and settled and looking leaner and being told by others I look leaner...also added in another training day...BOOM!11

I'm wearing a pair of my yoga pants today, and they are actually too large !16

Whoa, that's a great idea - a "safe" backup meal. What a great strategy - good for you!3 -
My husband got his arms around me...with room to spare!29

I donated three bags of clothes to Canadian Diabetes. None of my fall or winter clothes fit from last year as they're all XXL or XL. New wardrobe is M or S.38

The jeans that onlfy started to fit in august are getting lose in the waist and a bit saggy. I’ll have to pick up a belt sometime soon.20

Today marks 40 days of logging my food. I've had bad days but I've consistently logged. I haven't been able to get past 7 days of logging in two years so I'm proud of sticking with it. Staying on track is getting easier and I'm bouncing back after a going off plan.35

Hi my nsv today is
walked 1 hour
Yoga 1 hour18 -
This is a measuring victory, so sort of scale I suppose, but my waist is now less than half my height (88cm waist: 180cm height). I've been reading that this is a good measure of health and fitness, so this is really pleasing.17

I never comment so here it goes 23lbs down.
I bought a really nice wool/cashmere jacket 12 years ago. It came in too small as an xl and I was xxxl I figured I will keep it and here is my motivation to loose weight, well I didn't, I tried but nothing worked. A few days ago I found the jacket in the back of my closet put it on for the first time and zipped it up!!!
2nd NSV people keep saying they can see that I am loosing in my face. This week I looked in the mirror and I saw it in my face. I laughed at myself as I said I can see it in your face.
3rd NSV I logged my weight as 279 and thought you nucklehead its 297... then I realized no I was right the first time 279 woohoo I am gaining distance from the 300lbs I started. I couldn't believe it.40 -
Today is my ONE YEAR anniversary at Orange Theory Fitness and today I ran on the treadmill for 1.85 miles-- at a 8.0 pace for 14 minutes!! Feel so accomplished!24

AMAZING!! Logging for a whole year?? You are a rockstar!

Today I noticed lunges and squats were much easier than a couple of months ago.15

I'm not exactly sure what NSV means but, from the comments, I'm thinking it's an achievement. My most recent achievement is being able to walk 3 miles without sitting down for a break!22

@soykk1995: Good for you! NSV = non-scale victory, and that is definitely one.1 -
I hit 1 million logged synced steps with MFP!20

Stalking your profile and it says you joined last month. You had a million steps?!?!?!?!!?!
I'm not doing enough with my life 😱6 -
I find that part of doing this for a couple years (for I started at over 100 pounds overweight) is to manage my calories so that I get sweets. These are not big things; sugar-free jam on my English muffin some mornings, a fun-sized candy bar after lunch, or a 100 calorie crispy rice treat an hour and a half before dinner is ready, and the cozy winding down of the day with cookies and hot drinks before bedtime, for 150 calories.
Well, I try to prelog, but I don't always get it done. Tonight after dinner, I checked my food log to see if I'd prelogged dinner or not, and realized that I had allotted myself a mini candy bar at dinner. For that matter, I had allotted myself one after lunch, and I hadn't eaten it.
I cannot believe that someone who used to eat chocolate chips straight from the bag if that was the only chocolate in the house would FORGET a candy bar.
I intend to eat it, since I logged it. It's sitting there on my desk. It's sat there for about three hours. I haven't gotten round to it yet. I might not tonight.
NSV. Serious NSV.40 -
I went by our office yesterday (we have been WFH since March) and ran into our cleaner. She commented that I looked very nice and had I been on a diet? I really appreciated getting some external validation.
Another NSV might be that I’m obsessed with getting new clothes. I’ve favourited a bunch of stuff on my favourite second hand website which currently had a surprising amount of nice dresses (?!) that I’m interested in. I fully expect them to be a bit small on arrival but hoping to pull the trigger on a haul this weekend. It’s been years since I was interested in the type of clothing I’m eyeing now!19 -
I got all of my water in for the last 3 days.

Managed to chop another 2 minutes off my half-marathon time this morning! 7 minutes more and I hit my target time.

I had the "there is no way I fit into this shirt....oh, wait, that's the shirt I worked out in two days ago" experience today while folding the laundry.18

Sleeping better and my knee not hurting as much18

I was playing around with my clothes, and tried to put together a specific outfit I wanted to wear last year but couldn't because it was too tight. Well, when I styled it earlier this week, it wasn't so tight and looked great15

Yesterday is my usual cycling day, but it was so windy I decided not to go, and felt out of sorts all day. Today it was still super windy but I went cycling anyway. I didn't go for as long as usual (it really was miserable going into the wind), but I felt much better for going.21

Okay so here is one I did not anticipate happening. Stayed long at church today to chat with people and a friend who I haven't seen in a while came up. We shook hands and he eyeballed me and said, "hey are you losing weight?" I said something like yeah and he said, "on purpose?"
...He thought I was deathly ill. Granted, I didn't feel so hot this morning, but i'll be danged if he didn't mistake me for a terminal case.
so, FYI, I guess 32 pounds in 100-ish days is enough to make people wonder if you're sick.
Honestly, I thought it was funny.20 -
I finally have a thigh gap! Never thought it would happen30

I rode almost 10 miles on my bike! That to me is a huge NSV because I could barely ride around the block before! I am going to continue to increase my mileage. There are lots of cool places to visit that are within biking distance.26
