It's Friday all!! How ya doing? Are weekends usually a challenge for you?
Saturdays are usually my 1 day a week to indulge in ice cream but I have to be careful this week because I've hovered just over my calorie count for 2-3 days so far. BUT I'm going hiking tomorrow so hopefully it'll even out. Monday a.m. will tell. :)

Friday is the day I don't worry if I go a bit over. Having said that, usually I get a good long walk on Satursday and/or Sunday but this weekend I have a zoom seminar so that will be harder to fit in. Nonetheless I have bought us a delicious looking/smelling desert from the bakery at our local organic shop and I am looking forward to eating that later.

Heading into the weekend can be a challenge, the key for me is to stay busy!! The weather has cooled down some so we're playing more golf. That means great exercise and less eating. Hang in there everyone!!

The good news is that I actually hit 78.2 kg on Wednesday last week, and was below 79kg for most of the week, so I am hoping/expecting that I will show a drop again next week. (This reminds me of why I weigh daily not weekly!)

After being here many times over the years, losing for certain occasions, then relaxing and regaining the weight once the occasion had been and gone - often plus more !!!
I have decided - for me, i am not setting any time frame for my loss this time round. I am losing slow and steady and it can take as long as takes to get to my final goal weight. 😊

When it comes to losing weight, everyone has to figure out what works for them. Setting small goals works for me (at least at this time), and having the support of a group keeps me motivated to stay on track. No judgement here for anyone who chooses a different path on this crazy journey! I wish you the best in your slow and steady approach. :)

Well, it looks bad but its come down since almost 2 lbs so pretty sure it was water weight. Regardless - I'm carrying on, counting calories and weighing my food still. I find the difference losing weight this time is that small blips don't rattle me as much and I'm just getting back to the journey. It's truly a lifestyle and as long as I'm honest with myself and my struggles I can accomplish my goals, even if it is slow 🥰
