I'm still not fit, but last year I was too unfit to run for more than a minute without back pain or getting out of puff!
  • Excellent stuff. I confess that I haven't done it. Did day one and decided running still isn't for me!

Thanks for all the lovely comments peeps - not sure what's next, would quite like to try bridge to 10K BUT now the days are getting shorter it will be tricky to fit in a longer run every other day...definitely want to keep running though!

I've found myself a running buddy! Back to school this morning and one of the other mums saw me out running the other day and suggested we run together.

Ha, me neither. I'm on week 7 and determined to finish it but I'd much rather be out on my bike or in the gym rowing.

Congratulations! That's a great time too. I am on week 4 and the idea of running that whole time seems impossible still but I surprise myself each week.

I think I was doing about that - my other half said I really speeded up in the last couple of weeks of doing C25K.
Did first treadmill run in ages on Thursday and it was HORRIBLE - too hot, no scenery to look at, only managed 4K and my calves STILL hurt GRRR.

Well done! I've just done week one, now have to do it again as a load of people from work want to do it to at lunch - nice to hear from someone who has completed, you must be really pleased, great achievement :-)

I told one of my colleagues I'd finished couch25K - apparently he can run 5K in about 19 minutes. I figure I have to start somewhere!
My excuse is I have to keep slowing down to pull my trackie bottoms up...
