Didn’t do quite as well as I hoped last round, but that’s related to Halloween right at the end, I think. I set my goal a little higher, but I believe 142 is within reach this round. I’ll need to ignore the Halloween candy and make sure I’m sticking to the meals and snacks I’ve planned out.

70 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
We used to walk 5 miles a day. Recovered from back surgery then hip surgery!! Got back to walking then I sprained my ankle. UGH! I was down for 6 weeks with the ankle. Getting back to it slowly.
The Shelter in Place has everyone freaked. We need to remain calm and respectful of each other.

I was so happy to hit 118+ this past week...I could almost taste victory! However, I've been fighting what I presume to be a cold, and found myself bungee-jumping off the wagon. Not only was there homemade chili and tortilla chips, but candy corn was involved...and I generally don't exercise when I feel lousy. I found myself today, on the last day of round #130-and I weighed more than I did 10 days ago! I'm also quite sore from not exercising...(so went out and walked a couple of miles).

Female age 62 5' 4” - Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it – it's a permanent way of life !

@SheilaBoneham- don't be too hard on yourself, it's not easy to make healthy choices and keep portions under control when there are so many temptations and distractions around. After all for many of us food is an addiction, is that not why we are all here in this challenge ? Try not to keep looking back, draw a line under it, move on, take what you've learnt, today is a new day and the future stretches ahead of you.
Listen to me ! It's so easy to give advice to others, I should listen to myself and do the same!! We can do this! There is just 7 weeks to the Christmas holidays, that's 49 days or 4 and a half rounds, if we put our minds and will power to it we could lose a pound a week which would be 7 pounds, a significant amount which would take us both down into the next decade. Lets do this, if we feel tempted, think of each other and walk away from the temptation - what do you say?9 -

11/03: 333.2. Yesterday was a good day, although I panicked about my calories being 100 higher than most Mondays because I had a lasagne; I definitely catastrophise weight loss. Good to hold on to the loss so far.

11/03 - 71.9 - 2055 - Ended up only 75 steps off my daily target yesterday and I'm often a long way off, so it looks like my strategies to increase my NEAT worked yesterday. I needed to buy new walking boots yesterday so went for a wander around town at lunch, and took a quick walk around the block mid afternoon. Hopefully I'm able to keep that up today. Weight is down which is pleasing, but I'm not focusing on it too much as I'm working on activity this round. Decent start to the round, average is only just down from yesterday, but mondays are often more active than the rest of the week so it was slightly higher than I had expected. Today's will be the first real challenge as I'm working from home today, and activity is always low on those days, if I can up it today, that'll really make a big difference in my averages.

Hi, I’d like to join round 131 please.
I am seeking to maintain (or drop a small amount) and find that I need the discipline of daily weighing to stay on track. I use Happy Scale to record my weight and will post actual weight in kg and the trend direction.

11/03 182 I am disappointed in myself for letting Halloween ruin my progress last round, but that’s part of the learning curve, I guess. @musicax, I like your advice to @SheilaBoneham. I will try to use that as motivation too. You’re right about the food addiction. We got ALL the Halloween candy out of the house for that very reason. I thought of it last night and I’m sure I would have given in, but it was gone, so that was a good thing! I really want to get back into the 170s far enough to where I don’t bounce back up. I can do that by Christmas, can’t I? Maybe I can get further, but I’ll take that.
