Vegan / volume eater (I average ~40-50 grams of fiber a day- mostly from produce).
Didn't really intend on going vegan, but started about 15 years ago doing "meatless Mondays", then trended to less and less meat just because I found other sources of flavor and protein until I was only eating meat about once or twice a week, then cut out dairy for a while because of some tummy issues and found I better that I've just avoided it ever since, then about 3 years ago thought, "why the hell not?" and just stopped eating meat entirely.7 -
None really.
All foods in moderation, portion control, staying in a calorie deficit, and moving more. Works for me.3 -

I eat what I like, in more appropriate quantities than before 🤷 and I'm also a bit more mindful of my protein intake.
I've never tried any of those diets, nor do I care to. All foods are allowed, although I have a pretty balanced diet: I like veggies and homecooked meals as well as some 'junk'/treat foods and moderately precessed foods.1 -
I eat a plant-based diet and, honestly, I feel like I've unlocked the cheat code for life. I'm not gonna preach to anyone but if you want to feel good, come hang out with me for a day.4

Curiosity: Was your "before" way of eating just about the same as the way you're eating now (i.e., lots of plant foods) but with meat/fish/dairy in the picture? Or was it something different?2 -
I accidentally started eating vegetarian/plant based when I first moved out of home at 18 and had no idea how to cook so I was basically living off oats/fruit, peanut butter sandwiches and frozen veggies with instant noodles. I started getting bad pain in my legs, trouble sleeping and lethargy so got a blood test which found I was pretty severely deficient in both iron and b12. I got some shots to get my levels up and was advised by my doctor to start eating red meat a few times a week so I asked Mum to teach me to cook a few meat based meals 😂 this was of course 100% my fault as I was ignorant but I would advise anyone thinking of going plant based to make sure you are getting some sources of iron and b12.
I also tried keto once and hated it! I was already at a normal weight and just wanted to lean out a little and kept hearing it was great way to lose fat, gives you all this energy, helps you feel full etc. I genuinely believed there must be something wrong with me as I was losing no weight because I found it so hard to not over eat as my meals were so unsatiating, didn’t get all this clear headedness people are always going on about. Once finding these forums I felt a lot better about my experience as it seemed a lot of other felt the same way. Keto or low card Never again for me.
Now I usually run cut (tdee minus 500-250 calories) bulk (+150) or maintenance cycles just with counting calories and focusing on protein and enough fat.3 -

I'm a fully capable flexible dieter. It has its place in certain parts of my life. Though my everyday fare lends itself more of a paleo/Mediterranean style.3

I eat whatever I feel like. Now, I seem to naturally prefer stuff that doesn't involve much bread, rice, etc... BUT I don't do low carb, I still eat some pasta and I eat plenty of vegetables, fruit, oats etc, and I love an occasional frozen pizza2

Keto, GF, IF, vegetarian, "clean"eating, currently vegan. I have IBS so that's the reason for the ping-pong dieting. Vegan is working (i.e. I'm not constantly sick) for now, but it's terribly antisocial which I suppose during this pandemic is not such a bad thing.3

Unfortunately the WFPB didn't work for me. I followed Neal Barnard and Michael Gregor principals. Also did fruits and raw. My body just didn't agree with me. But glad it's working out for you.0 -
I'm an omnivore who counts calories. I believe any food can fit into a healthy diet at the right portion and frequency level.
If I could perfect the proportions of foods to the healthiest mix I enjoy, it would probably be closest to Mediterranean, with still a bit too much pizza and ice cream. I've made it to 47 with no health issues and never wandering outside of the healthy weight range, so I figure I'm doing ok, knock on wood. I see nothing in the thousands of years of human history that suggests we need to follow any specific diet.6 -

I leaned more toward the pescatarian lifestyle with tons of veggies and fruit. Now that Im back home and taking care of my mom, it had been a challenge. No more. I feel my overall health is just as important as hers.3

None of these. My dietary goal isn't weight loss, I'm aiming for increased protein and low sodium (< 1500). Although my eating preference is vegetarian I just wasn't doing well at getting a good amount of protein so I gradually moved to a pescetarian diet. I also try to incorporate principles of OmniHeart in my choices, for heart health.2

I am a non militant vegan who also calorie counts because I could still eat too much and gain weight. This is just what I feel healthy on and works in my world.6

I guess it would depend on how limited the eating window was, but my assumption was that the difficulty would be if one was trying to eat a lot of bulky, low calorie foods in a shorter window.

Yeah, I think a lot of people don't realize how truly varied vegan ways of eating can be. Yes, there are vegans who eat a lot of bulky and low calorie foods, but there are also vegans who eat very differently. I eat a pretty high volume diet, but I ate that way as a non-vegan too. It's all about individual preference, which you know.
My breakfast this morning was a very low volume chia pudding -- mostly chia seeds and coconut milk, with some blended pineapple for sweetness. 500 calories and just a few spoonfuls!0 -

Yeah, I think a lot of people don't realize how truly varied vegan ways of eating can be. Yes, there are vegans who eat a lot of bulky and low calorie foods, but there are also vegans who eat very differently. I eat a pretty high volume diet, but I ate that way as a non-vegan too.
