Going by the dates on the photos, looks like about three years’ worth of fork set-downs and plate push-aways to me! Probably a bunch of other exercises too! Seriously though, great work.2 -

I don't take it for granted, I know that at any point my journey could have taken another turn, and things could have turned out differently...

100 lbs, that’s awesome! Great job. You must feel so much better.0 -
I have been resistance training for 7 weeks now. Can't complain. Quite content.61 -
Okay, so I’m not at my ultimate goal but I’ve made a lot of progress since the end of June. I’m 5’2” and weighed 178lb starting out. Today, I weigh 147 and going down. In the next month or so, I’ll be in the 130s. Though I do need to exercise more (I’m careful due to supraventricular tachycardia from an arrhythmia), I’m getting kind of proud of myself. I’ll try to post a then & now. I haven’t done this yet. Be easy, guys! I swear I’ll be forever self conscious 😅

This was not a triumph of willpower. I always had that. This was the result of finally being believed by a doctor who didn’t automatically assume I was dishonest or self-deceived about my lifestyle. I had already been an active, health-conscious vegan for years. This happened with very minor changes, carefully tailored to treat a specific medical diagnosis that was discovered when I was sent to a specialist for testing. This is why we need to end the stigma and help prevent medical discrimination! I spent my entire adult life being blamed and told to just diet by almost every doctor I saw, no matter what I was there to treat, yet in a matter of months, one doctor who actually listened had more of an impact than decades of prejudiced ones who thought I was just being weak-willed.
(1) Your style is so unique and colorful and fun!
(2) your progress is amazing!
(3) is there any chance you'd be willing to disclose a little more information about the medical condition? Just for reference for any others having the same issues. If not, that's cool!
Thanks!
