I have asked a few people this question before and seem to get a mixed review, Me I'm what you'd class as a bit of a bear.
I have shaved my chest, back etc before but have always wondered what peoples opinion on the matter truly are?
Anyone care to share there views?

Honestly most hair should stay where it is.0

Man friend has a hairy chest and tummy. No back hair.
NOW... his butt on the other hand? GOOD LORD. I had to trim it with his trimmer in the summer because his butt sweated so much.
But overall, I want my man to be a man. And a man has hair (for me at least:) )0 -
maybe a little, but I'm not a fan of body hair really. Turn off.
I think armpit hair is really gross. Really really gross.0 -
i like my men metrosexual - waxed chest and back0

Not a huge fan of hair.0

For all the complaining women do about hair removal it has now become a real problem for dudes, who used to never worry about shaving anything besides their face.
My buddy used to tell a great joke, "I'm a pretty hairy guy, if I start where do I stop? If I just do a patch it'll look like a meteorite hit a cornfield."
Mostly I just try to keep myself "presentable". Nobody likes hairy shoulders. Or back hair. Or downstairs...
SEE IT NEVER ENDS!!0 -
I'm personally not a fan of chest or back hair.... legs, armpits, arms, face no problem...
A little on the chest doesn't bother me....
With all the laser hair removal out there now --- no reason for any man to have a hair back -- yuck.0 -
Makes me no difference overall. I like a hairy chest and happy trail a lot actually.
I do think if you have LOTS of hair that it would be nice to manscape it a little bit. Just keep it under control. But shaving or waxing it isnt necessary. Thats just itchy anyways. hehe0 -

I agree! I am not a fan of the hairies, sorry0 -
I don't mind at all. It would much rather have a hairy guy that a shiny waxed figure.
My ex had very little hair on his body and couldn't grow facial hair-that was a turn off.0 -
Mega turn off.
I dunno what it is, but I can't stand it.
My ex was like ape, quite literally. Hair everywhere. YUCK!
My bf now however doesn't have any hair on his tummy or back etc, which is nice :P0 -
Doesn't matter.0

I dislike hair...!
Sex + Sweat + a hairy man is ew...0 -
hairy is a huge turn on to me.
Ok, not on the back, I have to admit. But anything else ... gosh, yes yes yes!!! :blushing:
A man should look like a man, not like a window dummy.0 -

Love love love the chest hair!!!! All the guys Ive dated in the past 5 or 6 years either had very little or shaved/waxed and that was such a turn off. I want to date a man.... if i wanted a smooth hairless chest, id touch on my own.0

my hubby has a hairy back & chest and i love it i love running my fingers through it and i would not want him to change it.0
-
My husband has a hairy chest (love it), a little hair on his back (I don't really notice or care), and thankfully a baby smooth butt. I wouldn't change a thing :-)0

You are a good friend
I don't really care, certain things are just the way the body is made and I can't find fault in that.0 -
turn off. i don't mind hair but you could thin it and look just fine. my dad's a bit of a bear and i never got a long with him so that's why it turns me off.0
-
I love running my hands through my man's chest hair, as we call it his "shag carpet". LOL But it's very little to hardly any on his chest and back but I love it! Turn on!0
-
I mostly like clean chests- or a very little amount of hair.... But then I met my husband, and he is very hairy, and I think he is absolutely HOT!
So really I guess it doesn't matter either way when it comes down to it...0 -
Husband did not have a hairy back, until he got older, Just a hairy chest. I still love him....0
-
I like my man to be manly...and men tend to be hairy. So it works out well for us because he would never wax or shave. But hey...whatever your happy with...if you're happy being a bear....then go forth hairy...0
-
I find metrosexuals to be the opposite of manly and I like manly men. If you're hairy be hairy. I think body shaving/waxing is a definite turn off.0
-
I prefer my men to not have body hair.0
-
I'm not much for hairy guys...but I think I might like shaved guys even less. Stubble? Ew!0
-
Ick. I hate when guys shave their chest. I prefer hairy chests, but I suppose too much hair on the back is a turn off for me.0
-
Doesn't bother me at all - As long as its CLEAN.0
