Fed up of quitting

Hello.. i am saloni... i have been slightly fat since i was 17... i got very motivated about scoring well in my boards and those 2 years i did nothing but study... as a result got good marks and a very good college but was already 176 lbs... i tried diets and workout but couldnt keep up with them as i result i am 22 today and 220llbs... not to mention how low i felt when bullied about have fatty thighs or having chubby hands...tired of quitting... so i wanna give it one more try this time with new year to gain back my lost confidence... people who feel the same way and people who think they can help... please join this thread...

Welcome to MFP! Glad you're here. Have you completed the guided set-up on this site and received your calorie target? What is your plan to reach your goals?0

I have... its 1750 calories... earlier i tried to very steep goals like 2.5 lbs per week...and restricting my carbs upto 120 gms... aftr which i couldn't study properly... so this time i have kept it 1 lbs per week...hopefully i will be able to carry on3 -

That’s really insightful. You’ve already discovered what a lot of users here probably never will. Congrats, you just passed your boards in weight loss theory with an A level (I think that’s the lingo!)
In all seriousness, knowing that it needs to be slower to be effective and be a lifetime change is powerful knowledge.
Start weighing carefully and logging to your diary. Something tells me you’re going to very successful once you get the nuts and bolts down.
