Nice job getting under 200 pounds! I’m striving to get there. 👍👍4 -
Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in day out.
52 weeks till 2022 🎉
A pound a week seems reasonable I need to quit losing the same pounds over and over. If you are tired of starting over, STOP giving up.

My goal for 2021 is to get into ONEderland and make it stick. Changing my life.
Plans:
🔹Find workout routine that works (walk, bike, planks, yoga, swim, take advantage of retirement to be more active); target walking 100 miles each month
🔹Drink more water (target min 64-80 oz daily; start with 1 glass before coffee)
🔹Journal Food Daily (tracking with MFP since 12/28/2018; basically skipped June-Dec 2019; recommit 1/1/2020; skipped out April-July 2020; recommit 8/6/2020)
🔹Daily Vitamins (Dr’s orders; need to not ignore)
🔹Drink less alcohol (3 AF days per week; ~12 AF days per month; limit 1-2 glasses per day)

Week 0. A new year
Thanks Tammie for setting this up. As you said, last year’s challenge was, well, challenging. While I managed to lose weight, I fell short of the mark and need to join the 2021 challenge to finish. I am nearing a 'Healthy' BMI and need less than 52 pounds this year, but I will be here, week after week, until I get there.

Hi, I'm David. Brand new to MFP. Last time I was at my goal weight was about 20 years ago. Since then a very sedentary job and lifestyle have taken their toll. Now retired and I want to get more active and lose up to 80 lbs. Goal for now is just 50, though, in about a year.

I didn't make "new year's resolutions," as it were, but I am pretty sure I can get halfway to GW this year, which is about 50-52 lbs. I weigh in on Fridays.
Starting weight: 252.8 lbs as of 11/13/2020
Goal weight: 160 lbs, then reevaluate
Current weight: 247.4 lbs as of 1/1/2021
Total weight lost: 5.4 lbs (cheating a little bit, since I started six weeks before the end of last year ;P)
This week's successes:
* The enchiladas I've prepped for dinner the next two nights clocked in a lot lighter than I was expecting them to be.
* I've been able to pre-log my entire day for 3 out of 5 weeknights.
* I restarted a six-week exercise program that I completed last year on Christmas, and it's significantly easier this time around.
This week's challenges:
* Weekends are always a challenge, food-wise, as I don't usually prep anything for those days.
* I'm still struggling with some of the moves in my exercise program, though not as much or as many as I did the first go-round, at least.
* My husband is dealing with a health issue (not COVID). This isn't specifically related to my weight-loss journey, but it's a source of stress.6 -
