I am going to start weighing in on Fridays. I get so upset seeing my after-weekend weights, and it starts a whole cycle of bad decision making.
ok here we go:

1/11 This week was not looking good. My weight jumped to 153.0lbs a few days ago. I switched back to a carefully counted low carb diet.
1/18 On Thursday, my weight dropped to 148.0lbs. I have Friday and Saturday off. We ate out a couple times and I made better choices than I normally do (poke bowl, almond chicken w/soup, spring roll and 1 cream cheese wonton). I am at 149.5lbs today. I am hoping to pop right back to 148lbs tomorrow. Keeping it low carb under 50 grams 💜

Update as of yesterday
Sw: 156
Gw: 146
Cw: 153
Gotta start weighing in on Saturday mornings because I weighed in today (Sunday morning) and was very depressed to see the results of too much sodium from yesterday. A pattern for me for sure, usually it’s gone by Monday but still it’s very discouraging to see my weight go up so much after working all week to get it down1 -

Found my fitbit . . . so if I really step it up I suppose there is a chance I can lose 2 pounds per week over the course of the next 3 weeks. It's just so hard to exercise in this bitter cold. Even the dog does not want to go for a long walk.1 -

Tiding up the house always gets in extra steps. You could also find a workout video online to do.
A pound a week is really great!

I think a lot of us can relate. My best day to weigh in is Thursday, right before my Friday/Saturday weekend. I weigh daily but my Thursday weigh in matters more to me!1 -

1/25 My weekend diet is causing significant fluctuations in my diet. I am mostly reaching my goals each Thursday. My goal for this week is to be very mindful of my diet over the weekend. I am going out of town on Friday so I will have to eat out for a meal or two. I am thinking a poke bowl and a seafood vegetable soup might be good choices. I would love to see 144.5lbs on the scale this Thursday but it would be fantastic to see that on a Monday weigh in! 🖤

I need to avoid the greek yogurt, the pies, and peanut butter. I dont know how to control myself around them. Also ive been eating 1500 calories above my limit lately... and today , I ate a whole cake.. this is embarrassing . Anyways, my goal is to get to 165 pounds by the end of January. I have 1 week left. I think I can do it!!

Man. If I at a whole cake, I would gain 5 pounds over night. 0.7 pounds isn’t too bad for al that! Your weight is still trending down.
I mix plain Greek yogurt into jello or just eat the Greek yogurt plain. I think it is a healthy choice!
I have to save peanut butter for the end of the day to ensure I have a few hundred extra calories to use up on it. It doesn’t happen often but I am happy when it does!

Maybe it was a little extra sodium or a few more carbs than last week? I get little spikes like that and then they are gone in a day or two.

I just checked my log and the sodium and carbs were within range. It might be because I didn’t drink as much water, I have that problem. I also think I didn’t exercise much last week.0 -

Hopefully your weigh in tomorrow is more like what you want. Maybe it is just water intake. Were your calories within range?

Yep, calories were within range (1200). My weight went down to 210 today, yay! All week it was 211 or 211.5. So that’s the right direction, going to see if it’s the exercise and drink more water.1 -
Hi! I'm new to MFP, but saw this group and wanted to join. Hope that's ok. I didn't weigh in the last two days, so I'm just going to start with what I weighed a few days ago at my hematology/oncology appointment. Trying to get back on keto and IF. It's been a struggle, especially with this "adrenal fatigue"....but I want so badly to get and feel healthy again. This is the heaviest I've been outside of pregnancy. Going from 93 lbs. in high school, to 115 lbs. in college, and then an acceptable weight of 121-125 lbs. post-pregnancy (for all three kids)....and then not being able to maintain it after last year has made me hate looking at my own reflection. I want to be able to take pictures with my family again, and not feel ashamed of how I look. I'm hoping being on MFP will help...
