- Stopping food shopping for my mother (although, since she is 83, that's probably going to start back up again soon. At this time though, she would prefer to do it herself. I'm really looking forward to the aisles no longer being one way.
- Going to the dentist.
- Getting a proper haircut.
- And last but not least, getting a massage!

Going to see my mommy. We have never gone this long without hanging out before.16

This video was really helpful for me cutting my hair myself, but since I'm not used to cutting by looking in a mirror, it was quite challenging. Still, after a year of no professional haircuts, it made a big difference.

Watchful waiting, for a while.
Probably some small-scale socializing with other fully-vaccinated people whom I know don't have mega-risky lifestyles. (That's a big deal, for me, since I live alone and am retired. I go out for groceries maybe once every 3 weeks in person, and have a couple of Zoom social events per month, and a few phone calls. When it's warmer, I had more outdoor distance socializing at parks and such, but it's been too cold since around mid-November for lots of that except with a very few friends who are up for walking in the cold. I'm getting fairly tired of my own exclusive company, even though I'm introverted and resourceful.)
I've done most of my more critical medical stuff, including dentist, but have some more routine things in the queue that I'll resume before mega-socializing. Haircut would be good, but need a new person (good chance to break with the old one, who did good cuts, but had an irritating personality); that will cause some procrastination (even though I look kinda like Keith Richards at this point: scary).
I don't know when my massage therapist will go back to work, but I'll see him if/when he does. It's been legal here for quite a while, but he's considered it unsafe and I trust his judgement. He researched a bunch of airflow/sanitation options carefully, wasn't satisfied with any. He's just over 50, and the healthy 50s start being vax-eligible soon here. I won't be super surprised if he starts seeing vaccinated old clients he trusts a couple of weeks after his final vax. That would be good.
There's at least one person who's permanently out of my life, I suspect, as a result of all of this - someone I formerly socialized with at least once a week. That will take out one social circle that person dominates, realistically, and maybe a second. I can be civil, but I'm not sure the other person can.

1. Back to the gym. I miss picking up heavy stuff.
2. Road trippin'. I need to get the *kitten* out of this *kitten* town, even just for the weekend.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to be in the last group to get vaxed, unless I can slip in with another eligible group on a technicality or my inlaws/husband can get me on a last-minute waiting list type of thing. They're all healthcare workers, and I'm 10 minutes away from hub's hospital if it's the end of the day and the dose is gonna expire.3 -
Get on a plane a fly anywhere. Two vacations cancelled already and I’m guessing I won’t be going anywhere this spring. Maybe fall - but realistically might be 2022. Going stir crazy.2

She lived in China when I finished my PhD and still came to see me graduate because I hadn't walked in a graduation since high school and it was the one thing she understood about academia.

and get a new tattoo!3

I don't think much is going to change for me. I'll get vaccinated as soon as possible, but my husband won't be able to get his for quite some time. Since, according to what I've learned, you can still shed the virus after vaccination it is just not worth the risk to him.
I've been lucky though - the gal who does my hair has been opening early for me so there are no other customers and she is super careful (she's been double masking since she was allowed to re-open, takes all the precautions and has been testing weekly). So at least my hair looks good!3 -
Family gatherings again after we all get vaccinated (so far everyone in my family 65+ years has gotten vaccinated).
Running a marathon in person! Los Angeles Marathon has been rescheduled to November 7.1 -
I'm looking forward to seeing my grandparents. They live far away and I normally see them once a year. Last year's trip was cancelled. They are elderly but otherwise in good health and independent. My youngest daughter is named for my grandmother and they haven't met yet.
I am a huge introvert but I do miss just being in public spaces sometimes. Whenever I'm out and about I feel rushed or hurried, just do the thing I need to do and get out of there. No time to linger, or browse, or enjoy. Masks make it harder to greet others. If I smile at a stranger they might not see, or they might smile at me and I miss it. I'm looking forward to that being normal again.7 -

That’s what I’m doing too, a hummingbird on the side of my wrist.1 -
Am very lucky here in Australia that life is almost normal.
Am looking forward to international travel eventually and seeing my daughter who lives in London, we have not seen for over 2 years.

See my sister who was also recently vaccinated. Maybe get a haircut. Our gym & pool Has been open since Sept. I won’t be flying or going to large events for awhile, probably another year.2

Hug everybody. See people smile.6

Mostly travelling and seeing family and close friends. Aa an expat, I haven't seen any family members at all since last summer, and some not since 2019.
I also miss the gym and restaurants, having someone else bring me a carefully prepared drink or food and chatting with friends over a meal (now we are not allowed to meet groups from other households and a Skype dinner is just not the same).3 -
At this point, I don't even know when I will be able to get vaccinated, supply is unreliable (big pharma making promises and not keeping them) and I am not in any priority group. By summer if I'm lucky?
But my personal vaccination status has no bearing on my activities: government restrictions - based on confirmed cases, hospitalisations and countrywide vaccination progress - determine what I can and cannot do.
So I am impatiently waiting for:
- zero restrictions on close contacts, or at least less strict than now (currently only one FIXED close contact allowed on top of people you live with, since October)
- restaurants to open (closed since October)
- the end of mandatory working from home full-time (since March 2020)
- no more masks in busy areas (including popular hiking areas! The whole country has gone 'mad' for walking.)
- international travel to be allowed again and not requiring quarantine
I'm introverted but it's getting a bit much even for me. I'm becoming a recluse and I think I'll have trouble adjusting again to big crowds, busy commutes, etc.5 -
Hey folks, let me reiterate the title of this thread:"What's on your 'after I get the vaccine list'"
If you're not planning to get the vaccine, then you clearly do not have a 'after I get the vaccine list' which means this thread is not for you. If you'd like to debate the merits of the COVID-19 vaccine, please do so in the debate section of the community. Attempting to do so in a thread in any other part of the community could be viewed as trolling, which is a warnable violation of the community guidelines.

I've had both my vaccines, and so has my sister. Dh had his 1st. My ds, last I heard, was looking into qualifying for his due to being diabetic but not in the age groups yet.
Even with that all said, I'm going to keep doing what I've been doing right along, being very cautious, mask up, social distance, etc. IIRC we can still get Covid, just not as bad. I've had Covid, mild case TG, but don't want to risk passing it to anyone else that might not be vaccinated, etc.
While I'd LOVE to see my kids(hoping this year is it!!) I'm still gonna stick to my bubble until ds says it's okay to visit. He's the most cautious one of us all.
Just wanted to add how sad and disappointed I was to return to read the other Covid prep thread and find it closed. I realize where it had headed but couldn't it have been edited or something? That whole thread was currently my go-to for information; I trusted some of the input there more than on other social media.
