    YES to all of this. I think it’s because I grew up in a super traditional household where my father made the majority of the decisions (through consulting my mother), but he had the final say in the best interest of our family. I really respect men who are lovingly assertive and protective, which is such a great thing when it’s done in a loving way!

    My dad let my mom get away with too much imo, maybe that has something to do with it.

    There’s a healthy balance. I look to my husband for guidance because often times his strengths are my weaknesses and vice versa. I think if you are in a relationship you should always be able to know that your spouse/SO has your best interest at heart so I try to remember that even if it’s a decision I may not agree with completely. I hope If you haven’t already that you find a man who fits a massive amount of your desires. Seems to me from getting to know you that you deserve it! 💜
