Total loss for March: About two pounds based on average. Slowly losing; very slowly. The last five or ten pounds was tough when I lost it the first time, and it's also slow as I come back into my maintenance weight, but it's going in the right direction.

Mar 8: 181.7 Down 4 lbs in one week, better than usual. Switched to total carbs from net carbs, high protein meal plan and trying to drink 8 glasses of water per day. Don't usually drink water, just coffee and beer.
Mar15: 181.2 On the bright side, averaging just over 2 lbs per week loss so far.

Real name Mike, I am 61. Lost a lot of weight on MFP at one time, and spent the last two years practicing a discipline known as "intuitive eating." Which is another way of saying I gained all the weight back.
Personals: married to my best friend for 39 years this month, reside in Virginia, T-2 diabetic which both makes weight control harder and more critically necessary. Have been seeking a low key challenge here, and this looks to be the ticket.

A little bump from traveling to get my covid vaccine and an attack of the brownie bites. I have my doctor appt this week to review my BP and hope that the numbers I have been getting will be enough to make her decide to keep me off more meds. Exercise really helps bring that down, as well as a 7% weight loss since I last saw her in Dec.9 -

Updated. It is steady so far. Not sure if I can achieve my goal in 9 days. Still continuing with whatever I am doing regularly. I workout ~45-60mins everyday (cardio + strength training), walk 10,000 steps in the evening. For food, I am tracking consistently and try to keep my carb limits under control as they are very difficult for me to restrict being a vegetarian. Not particularly following any diet except not eating sugar, refined foods or fast foods, basically anything unhealthy. I still have to improve my protein intake.
