Last day of conference – yay!!! Just looking to hang in there and maybe squeeze in a walk.
Wednesday 3/24
• Conferences! - √
• Set up tutoring schedule for at-risk students – Still waiting for a response from their mentor
• Avoid mindless snacking – X – Overscheduling was my first bad decision. Not leaving adequate time for meals led to more bad choices - junk in the breaks, a quick takeout dinner, and too many cookies when I finally crashed
JFT Thursday 3/25
• Wrap up conferences
• Quick grocery run
• Make better food choices
• Walk6 -

@Bex953172 - That's a long walk, I don't know if I would have even attempted it.
@mytime6630 - I only bought ONE. I did NOT buy a box of ice cream This is a great NSV. I have been doing that with chips lately. One small bag on Sunday night, that's it. I don't buy the big bags anymore.
My weight is up again, it's from crappy days on Saturday and Sunday. My hip is hurting again today, I think it has to do with our bed. I didn't hurt all weekend at my cousin's not in the bed I slept in or in the chairs I sat on. I just can't afford new furniture though.
The weather is supposed to get nicer next week, I hope it does and I can get out for a walk in the evenings. I was told to take it easy and not push, so it will take time to get built back up to my 5K I imagine. Pools still aren't open, but I think when they do open I'll sign up for a refresher swim lesson. I haven't been in the water since my last lessons in June 2019. I'm a bit nervous to try again now. I'm sure it's like "riding a bike" it comes back to you, but I know it takes strength that I don't have.
I guess it's almost 8 so I should get to work.
Have a great day everyone.5 -

2021 Goals:1) Weight 150#Word for 2021: Gratitude ~ be mindful of & appreciate my many blessings
2) Plan meals most days & prelog meals/snacks whenever possible on MFP
3) Post weekly weigh-in on JFT for accountability. Saturday a.m. is my "official" weigh-in day, and I peek occasionally other days. My digital scale only shows half pound increments & I'm too cheap to buy a fancier scale.
4) Take measurements & log on MFP every month end ~ remember this year! ~ 1.31.21 ~ 2.28.21
5) Exercise 5-6x per week (minimum 4x) ~ mostly walking but include weights/circuit & other x-training
6) Participate in race or challenge events even if virtual ~ started MapMyWalk You Vs. Year 1021K on Jan. 1 / virtual 50 Mile Frenzy 11.27.20 - 1.15.21 (replaced Frenzy on the Fox for Jan. 2021) 50.37 miles 12.17.20 and completed 97.44 miles total / Tour de Northeast WI virtual challenge: cover distance from Oshkosh to Gills Rock (139 miles) 1.1.21 - 3.31.21 ~ completed distance on 3.21.21 / 30/45 Build to Bellin virtual challenge 30 min. activity for total of 1,350 min. in 45 days 3.1.21 - 4.15.21
7) Be considerate and loving to hubby and have fun together ~ excellent goal last year that should be repeated
8) Make efforts to keep in touch with parents, siblings and friends (most live in other towns or states) ~ had this goal in 2020 and how ironic
9) Declutter bedroom, home office and basement ~ made good progress in 2020 & want to keep it up2 -

Hey youre a similar age to me I just turned 29.
Well done on your loss so far! How many you aiming to lose in total?
Thank you very much ❤️ I previously lost 42+lbs and over the years gained it back, then gained another 50lbs or so from lockdown and medication so I'm aiming to get rid of about 90lbs! How about you?
Originally it was about 45lbs. But I hit hard times and rather than stress-eating I stress-starved and lost 30lbs.
But now I'm eating again and I have already gained 4lbz a few week ago, god knows how much it is now.
So I'm guessing now I have anywhere between 15 and 25 (at the most) to lose.
Which will probably take me a lifetime 😂1 -

Looking back I don't know what possessed me to attempt it lmao1 -

I would agree its like riding a bike lol. You don't forget, and as for your stamina and strength, just treat it like any of exercise. I wouldn't expect you to walk into the gym and just beast out a 100kg deadlift lmao, just take it easy, do a few less laps, take more breathers if you need it, you'll be fine!2 -
I did another 10k steps today I checked my app and apparently I've done it 3 days in a row now! So it was like a mini NSV
I gotta clean up the house tonight downstairs, got an engineer coming out to do a gas check on the boiler. So finally I can ask him how to turn the damn water down so it's not scalding my hands.
I really cba cleaning it. I was considering putting the dirty pots in a cupboard until he'd gone😂😂😂.. And I'm still considering it! There's just too much otherwise and it's already 9.15pm, but I could atleast wipe the sides and sofa and hoover and mop the floors so it's clean
Anyway night all, can't wait for Friday night where I can just sleeeeeeeeeeeep.5 -

I have been able to consistently maintain my main food/exercise goals for just over a month now (with some slips as to be expected)! Very proud of my progress, and I think I need to shift into goals that are better for long-term. For example, I know daily exercise is not sustainable, and my body needs rest days. But I have a hard time stepping back and taking it easy. It's hard not to feel like a failure or just throw the whole thing out the window. So I'll be thinking of some goals to trade out, such as maybe a meditation/mindfulness goal? Or daily gratitude? Something that is not connected as much to weight, but more towards self-care. Suggestions welcome!

@Bex953172 in my long experience, tradesmen, and especially plumbers and heating engineers, end up in places you never expected. I would get him in to look at one particular thing and he'd be in every room in the house checking things. He'll find your pots!3
