4/1- 177.2 lbs ....got my second vaccination yesterday so feeling a little tired and sore today hopefully I will better later today so I can get a workout in 😊
4/8- 175.2 lbs....had to make up some calorie burning the last few days but it paid off! My body is definitely a little sore from last nights workout but totally worth it 😊

Was very shocked by this, since I had a terrible weekend (fast food on Saturday, Easter on Sunday, and Easter leftovers on Monday, along with the associated sweets. Feels very nice to be back at a new "decade" that I have not seen in almost a year. Hoping this upcoming week is even better without easter!12 -

Okay....down a pound. Went to my Dr. and found out that since my last visit, Jan 29 I have lost 6.5lbs which makes this 7.5 from then. Only a pound since we started this challenge but will take it. I am one of those that want to go to bed and wake up 10lbs lighter..lol. I need to get out and walk more...Some days I just want to chuck it but if I succeed, there is a good chance I can get off Metformin for diabetes and lower some other drugs. Hang in there everyone!

Down a bit but wow! Starting right before Easter was tough for me (it was the Easter buns with cream cheese topping not the chocolate!). That said my walking went through the roof -one day I clocked 3 hours of walking (one hike and one regular walk in one day) so the dietary part was rough but my exercise increased substantially as a result (not that it offset it...). Will work to keep that up with a much better and less tempting food week:)

I really don't understand why I'm not seeing better results right now. I am constantly in a calorie deficit (maybe too much so though). I try to even eat the 1200 allowable in a day but I just can't get there. I've never had much of an appetite but I guess I was eating poorly and have a very slow metabolism. I do find that a lack of fiber is playing a toll though on my digestive system lately.6 -

Apr 1: 278 (or 278.8. My scale is kinda messed up and i probably need to get a better one). A teacher, teaching virtual and in-person at the same time. Chained to a desk. Struggling to get steps and activity. Trying to do better.
Apr 8: 278.2 I don’t believe the 278 form last week (think it was an artificial low. I bough a new scale, so i feel more confident in this week’s number). Went on a walk around campus 2 days this week at lunch with my teacher friends. Trying to use the “far” faculty bathrooms whenever time permits. Trying to walk around the room more during work time when my virtual kids aren’t asking questions and i’m not filling out “paperwork”.

I'm feeling a little discourged I'm coming up to a month of working out and it seems like I lose one pound than gain that same pound back. But I'm not giving up overall it makes me feel good throughout the day and I sleep well at night.
