Starter of salad with a mixture of the last of the ranch and the last of the Caesar dressing with some Cambodian street corn made with mini cobs in the air fryer. Main of linguiine cacio e pepe. A relatively spartan way to eat pasta with cheese given that traditional recipes for two people contain 150g pasta, 75g finely grated pecorino romano, a ladle full of starchy pasta water and black pepper.

Grilled beef patty, sautéed asparagus, Caesar salad and little pan fried concoctions of amaranth and potato with some breadcrumbs, lemon zest, pecorino and parsley. The flavor was OK but I wouldn't make them again as they were more work than they were worth. My partner told me he thought they were weird and would be better deep fried.

Homemade char sieuw pork loin cooked sous vide, minus the Chinatown red food colouring. Stir fried broccoli. Roast courgette for the broccoli hating hubby. Leftover rice from yesterday's takeaway.

Chilean sea bass & scallops pan seared in bacon fat, butter nut squash purée w/bacon, leftover Brussels sprouts w/bacon (from last night) and white wine. This bacon is from a local butcher shop and is sold as smoked pork belly (done in house). It has excellent flavor and is meatier than most bacon. Everything was delicious even if the photo is not particularly attractive.

Whenever @acpgee posts pictures of the dutch stamppot I end up thinking I need to try it sometime and finally did tonight.
I made zuurkoolstamppot using garlic basil sauerkraut with the potatoes. I like the idea of sauerkraut but find it a little too tart after a few spoonfuls and thought this dish would temper it a bit and it did. It was delicious so I'll be trying some other vegetables in the future as well as this again.
Accompanied with grilled andouille sausage made in house from a local meat shop and lemon parm chopped salad.

You can add any veggy you like to the stamppot. Our favorites are brussels sprouts and endives, with small pieces of rendered bacon.2 -

Air fried rack of kid goat smeared with pesto. Roast courgette and carrots also went into the air fryer. Baked potatoes were pricked and cooked 6 minutes in the microwave and then were bunged in with everything else in the air fryer to dry out for a baked rather than steamed texture.
Kid goat is great. Milder and leaner than lamb. More expensive though, as goats need to be weaned later than lambs so they are more expensive to raise.
