April 2nd: 200.8 (changing my weigh in days to Fridays)
April 9th: 200.4 (not quite as low as I'd hoped. I was 199.8 on Saturday so was hoping for 199 by today. Unfortunately, got off track with Easter and sweets this past week. I have been working out almost every day though, which is still fairly new for me)
April 16th: 200.4 (I'm a bit discouraged by this. On Sunday, I had a good talk with myself as my birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I decided if I got serious, I could lose at least 5-10lbs before then. I currently have MFP set to lose 1.5lbs a week and this week, I ate under my calories every day and worked out all but one day. I was hoping I would at least be out of the 200s! Next week!!)
April 23rd: 201.2 (I forgot this week was my TOM and I also ended up ordering a delicious & comforting fried oyster dinner delivery meal after a frustrating failed attempt at making some healthier sweet potato and cauliflower pierogies with cassava flour. I did see 199.0 this week on Monday, yay, so hopefully this will shoot back down in a few days.)
April 30th:
I have a question about scales. Is it normal for a scale to show the exact same weight 3 days in a row? My old scale only showed weight in 0.5lb increments, so I bought a new one that would show it in 0.1lb increments. However, last week, there were 3 days in a row that it showed 200.4, even though I know the way I ate and exercised varied each day. Then this morning, it showed 201.2. I decided to check my old scale and it said 200.5. I stepped back on the new scale and it said 201.8 even though it was only about a minute later. I recorded the 201.2 as my weight for today.3 -
Really happy with my loss over the last week. Staying just under my calories and lots of running worked for me this week. Can't believe I'm already under my calories for the month.

April 12: 159 - happy with my a1c and lipid panel!
April 16: 157 - unexpected, but ate clean during the week and worked out everyday
April 19: 155.6 - quiet weekend, was able to watch what I ate and go to the gym
April 23: 154 - distracted by preparing a presentation for work, snacked less. Need to up my water intake

What helped me the most was once I understood the relationship of macros in nutrition. I used the "intro to Macro tracking" 28 day plan during a free Premium Trial period ( think it was for 60 days). I reset my macros to 35% carbs, 30% fat and 35% protein and tried to hit that profile. I log all foods for the day first thing in the morning to see if it fits the profile, if not, I try to adjust to get as close as possible within reason while still providing me a variety of meals. I will look in the fridge to see what I have and then google recipes to see what I can make out of the ingredients instead of looking for recipes and going out to buy items for that recipe. Hope this gives you a little insight on your journey. Hang in there. I only work out 3 times a week, otherwise I follow the same routine as you, increasing my steps every couple of weeks. Averaging 12-15K per day currently.4 -

The last ten pounds is really tough. If you've been hitting your calorie target for five or six weeks without any appreciable loss, maybe adjust your target down just a little bit or only eat back 2/3 of your exercise calories. The calorie contents are somewhat of estimates, and the estimates for calorie expenditures are for SURE estimates.3 -

One year in from the day I decided instead of thinking about changing, I needed to start. I am down 28.8 lbs (13 kg) and almost 15% of my bodyweight. From September through December I backslid and regained 10 of the 18 pounds I'd lost, but I started again Jan 4, and here I am. I've gone from a 28.7 BMI to 24.5. I have a thin frame, so I feel and look better at a lower BMI, so I'm going to keep going. Next step will be to start incorporating exercise to build stamina and strength.

4/1- 177.2 lbs ....got my second vaccination yesterday so feeling a little tired and sore today hopefully I will better later today so I can get a workout in 😊
4/8- 175.2 lbs....had to make up some calorie burning the last few days but it paid off! My body is definitely a little sore from last nights workout but totally worth it 😊
4/15- 171.8 lbs...much bigger drop than anticipated, must have been some water weight! Feels great just was a big surprise today ❤️ Staying focused on logging my food and exercising! The nice weather has helped a lot and the craziness at work has me getting a bunch more steps in so hope I can keep this up for a bit longer 😺
4/22-169.6 lbs....reached my goal!!! My new goal is going to stay under 170 this next week 😳 since covid began my parents haven’t come down to visit and now that we all are vaccinated they are coming to see me for my birthday! Very excited to see them just need to make sure I don’t go too crazy with food and gain too much weight this next 7 days 🤞
4/26-168.4 lbs...my parents get here today! Might be distracted and forget to weigh in on Thursday so this might be my final April weigh-in....just need to stay focused and not overeat the next few days 🤪

Happy so far with the progress. I reached my goal weight this month of reaching 158. I don't break the mini goal weights down to the decimals as to not feel like a failure if I don't reach it. Therefore, any weight in that one point range is an achievement. Been at this 2 months and although 13lbs in 2 months doesn't seem like a lot, it's a great accomplishment for me!9 -
