I am going to cautiously start outside socialization by going to a party for Pride in June. I'd like to be lighter and stronger than when they saw me last. (I'm also single now so that will get more comments than anything else.)5

After meeting my 105kg trend today, my next goal is to get my trend to 99.9kg, hopefully by my birthday in August, but I'll be ok if it takes longer.
Not only will it be down to 2 digits, but it will take me out of morbidly obese and is the weight I need to get to to start horse riding lessons (Though to be nicer to the horse, I'll probably wait longer).14 -

I have lots of mini goals. My 'big' mini goal is that I booked a cruise for November and I would like to be at 175 or lower by then. I'm currently at around 200 lbs and I'm aiming for a loss of around 5 pounds a month or a pound a week. I think that's reasonable and it would put me at 170 by the end of November. If I lose more, then I'll be thrilled but, if I stall a few weeks/months and lose less, then that's fine too as long as I tried my best. My next mini goal is to get to 195 or lower by the end of June. I'm sticking to the lower end of my calorie range (1200-1500) five days a week and the other two days, I go to the upper end of my calorie range but I try not to go over. I'm also walking 10K steps 4-5 days a week. So far, it's been working as I started in April at 210 pounds so I lost around 10 pounds my first month and a half. I'm motivated to keep going. I really want to wear a cute swimsuit on the beach for my vacation.8

It might be worth recognising that a loss of 0.8 lb per week is a really good rate of loss. If you lose at that rate consistently, then that adds up to 3.2 lbs per month.6 -

Similar, but quite a bit different. I'm just barely over the "morbidly obese (>40)" category and look forward to *only* being obese. Baby steps!10 -

I initially set my goal weight at 115 (I started journey at 140lbs and didbt think I’d ever see 115 on the scale.
Once I reached 115 I set my second goal weight to 110 (another weight I never thought I’d see) I’m exactly 1.5 pounds away from second goal weight!! I’m literally losing an average on 1 once per week (I’m only 5’0” so last 5-10 pounds is huge struggle)
So my motivation is not only to weigh what I weighed when I was a teenager, but to maintain that weight for life!
Been using MFP on and off for over 10 years- when I log calories I lose, when I get lazy and quit logging MFP fir any given time, I gain.8 -
I've seen a lot of non-scale changes.... blouses that used to fit very tightly round me are much looser in both belly area and arms, and are a nice level of fit over the bust. But I'm looking forward to the scale starting to move. I want to see something in the 230s next week, please, even 239! I've been in the 240s for MONTHS.10

Many years ago in a WW meeting where I complained about my low weight loss in one week was asked, 'do you want it back?' No, of course not!
Good for you in keeping with your good diet and exercise routines - today it paid off for you! Yes, we can do this!! Looking forward to your continued successes!

Getting back under 300. Not sure how I allowed it to go this far but I'm sitting at about 310 right now.18

Struggling! Stress over the last couple of months sent me spiraling and now my body likes this extra 2 kg. Goal is to stay the course and relax. Stop looking for a big drop and let my body recover from the drama. I've been allowing the weight to add to the stress which is a vicious circle.14

I am just 9.5 pounds away from having lost 10% of my starting body weight of 260. That is deeply meaningful to me, as it is the thing my MDs strongly pressured me to get bariatric surgery to do (I refused, after the meeting with the surgeon who made clear the serious downsides of the surgery that doctors *don't* tell you about). I got so upset during the entire process I decided to prove that no, I didn't need a stomach the size of a banana because I didn't eat too much food; I needed to get a clear understanding and management of the high caloric load of the normal amount of food I did eat, and needed to exercise. Still at the beginning of my journey, but having lost 17 pounds since the beginning of March through a combination of WW Blue (overly punitive) and now MFP, slow and steady, that 1st finish line (since I have a long way to go, yet) is blinking at me with increasingly bright lights!21

i bought a cute pair of jeans at Gap in the REGULAR women's sizes, and can button but not zip. I will wear them this summer!!15

Vacation to Miami and the Florida Keys at the end of July. I lost about 13 Lbs of my COVID weight from about mid February through mid April and have been maintaining that...still have 10 Lbs or so to get to my usual maintenance weight but I haven't been particularly caring about losing it. It's on for June and July.6

Great mindset and very logical thinking, I like it! In my past attempts, I would easily get discouraged with what I had in my mind was a slow loss or plateau of some sort but this time I have taken on a whole new mindset and lo and behold each ounce that comes off ADDS up to pounds and before you know it, the amounts are very meaningful! Not to mention, you kind of hit the nail on the head that it is really about seeing and understanding the impacts of what foods, not just how much of them, we are eating and how those add up too.4 -
Last night I was hungry and snacked for dinner. Not a good choice of calories. Not terrible but I can do better.
My new mini-goal is to go back to eating satisfying meals. Planning ahead. Finding quick meals that work.
Snacks as meals are not working. Let this be a thing of the past.11 -
I set myself up with three 10 lb goals, each 6 weeks, I've hit the first goal and am 2.6 from the second and that will equal 20lbs. Tried on a couple of shirts I couldn't wear and they are still about 10-15lbs away from feeling comfortable but I put on one of the tops I used to use for work and it's nearly too big. Great incentive.11

I am determined that this time, I am going to follow my gut: it took me about 40 years to gain all this weight (I arrived at college in 1978 weighing 130 pounds), so if it takes me 2 years or even 3 to take it all off, that's OK. Not easy sometimes, but necessary for me. Because I desperately want this to be a permanent change in my relationship with food and exercise, and that takes time. [Now, if I can just do the same thing with my larger self-esteem....]

Tiny goal, but I’d like to get under 220 and stay there! Last week 219.2. This week 220.6. ......not sure why, but this seems to be important psychologically to me at the moment!13
