I think I missed a couple of check-ins this month, it's been a little crazy. I'm still on track for 52 lbs in 52 weeks, so I feel pretty good about that. I also successfully maintained while out of town for a week, so that's good. It looks like my actual TDEE is in the 2700ish cal/day range, so I can comfortably lose eating about 2300 cal/day, for now. I guess I really do have more muscle under all this than I thought.1 -

This week's successes:
Oddly enough, my success this week was allowing myself to take a day off from walking. I usually walk 3+ miles a day and haven't missed a day in almost 2 months. But I wasn't feeling well yesterday and so I allowed myself a self-care day. Normally I would feel guilty about taking a day off as if it were a failure, but this year I'm realizing that self care & acceptance is just as important as exercise is.
This week's challenge:
Trying to stay at or under my calorie goal with it being that TOM and eating out twice in one week
