I think everyone of us on this site has at one time or another asked the same question of "How did we get to this point in gaining weight". The answer is in the realization that you now want to do something about it. I am 68-years-old and weighed 319 lbs. back in July 2020. I now weigh 215 lbs. as of today. I know you can do it. This week’s mini goal is to purge my cupboards of tempting foods. I just dumped the chocolate chips in the bottom of the freezer.12

My mini goal is getting down is from 61lbs lost to 66lbs lost, I will be at 12st 7lbs. It took me 4 months to achieve my last goal of getting to 12st 13lbs, as of this week I have exceeded it and I'm 12st 12lbs!12

To get down under 200 pounds. Only 26 more to go before then! Not a "small" goal I guess, but this girl is on fire!!!16

I was under 220lb this morning. I haven't been there in about a year. Next mini goal is to be under 220 for multiple days as I have a tendency to immediately gain after hitting a goal. 2nd goal sub 215 lb.17

I so feel that! I have been in the 240s for the last 5 years and I have JUST gotten under. It feels good man! Makes me believe I can do this12 -

My current mini goal is to get under 130 lbs.6

Next 0.8 lbs off - I will be at the 1/4 mark to my big goal - 20 lbs lost. Will be a bit more out of the “ morbidly obese” category too.🙂10

I am beyond excited today! I went for my first run in close to a year. Banged out a 5k with no issues and no pain!!!!17

It's been about 2 months since I came back here. My mini goal was log and walk. I've added some online workout routines from an online site I like. Went times permit I walk 30 min and workout 30 mins. When times (or weather) does not permit, I do what I can.
I have introduced my yoga and meditation routine back, in the morning before breakfast.
I had not seen any weight change in two months..
This WE, I was a few hundred grams down, about a pound. That is a start !
Current mini-goal : keep doing what I have been doing and see from there if I can continue to see the weight drop off (my larger goal is about 10 kg).9 -
I have a vacation booked in just over six weeks and want to drop a stone by then. If I stick to my MFP allowance and do a few workouts then I think I should be able to do it.9

Mini goal for today is making it to the gym before the after work crowd starts at 5.9

For me, it's to get down to the 170's. An added bonus would be having my jeans and blouses fit better ;-).10

Right now, (I'm 14 days into my weight loss), I just want to get to the zero end of the top slider, on my beam scales! So, my mini goal is currently ... 28 #s!

Now back up to the right side numbers again. Same goal, in repeat mode... Get to the zero, again!
June mini-goal is to make the "50# down" mark, by my 62nd birthday, on the 29th ...(10 to go)

I have to squeeze into a dress for a wedding I'm attending this summer. I've never had to do that before, but the pandemic wreaked havoc with my fitness. Hope this will kick it up a notch!6

I'm going to see the doctor in person in mid-July. I'd like to be enough below fifty pounds lost that even in the middle of the day I show that I've lost 50 pounds since she last weighed me, in January 2020.13
