Dude, we got married to JESUS until we got married for realsies and THEN we could drop our pants. Needless to say I lost my ring in high school and came home from a sleepover without it on and my mom kind of freaked out and I said, "Mom, don't you think that if I had just had secret sex with a boy I would have KEPT THE RING ON so you wouldn't know?" We never did find it...the ring, the virginity was right where I left it...
Anyway, YUP virginity rings are a thing, and actually quite popular, OH and TLW (True Love Waits) rings are something that were really popular in my youth group/high school. Boys would get THOSE rings for their girlfriends and they'd be all, "NO SEX" for like 3 months. Although, a handful managed, which was hilarious because 3 of those guys came out in college, way to use the Jesus ring to get out of het sex! I was quite proud of them.0 -

Promise rings...you have to be an "Old Soul" with believe in value of who you are and what you believe in. Meaning your parents raised you right..with respect for others and the lack of selfishness and selflessness within. The problem therein lies that the one you are giving it to...these days, does Not get raised with these same morals...in turn, allowing society to laugh and scoff and at real gesture becuase its so pure to believed in. Too much damage I've seen on this thread to a lot you....0
