Because you dont Just lose weight because you've followed a diet for a day.
Consistent effort, consistent results.7 -
Patience, you need a lot more patience.4

Seriously, you keep asking the same questions over and over again. Read the replies to your previous threads and please, read the most helpful threads that are pinned (fixed) at the top of each forum.4

Your post from four days ago said your weight was 204.7. You are down 3.3 pounds since then.
Your expectations are too high.
Open your ears and listen to the advice that caring members are sharing with you, based on our own experiences.
You are heading down a bad path. Slow down and do this the healthy way. If you expect to lose a pound a day, you are going to be bitterly disappointed and give up.
What’s better? Losing five or ten pounds real quick and then quitting? Or being down thirty or more pounds in six months, with new habits, new tastes and recipes developed, and knowing what works for your body so you can continue losing?
The pace you’ve set does not (can not!!!) continue. It took me two years to lose about 100. Seventy the first year, and thirty the next. I did not close my eyes in a size 24 and wake up a week later in a 4.

@bandandn
Why are you putting so much pressure on yourself? Is there something going on? Is everything OK?
I see you don’t have any MFP friends. Send a few of us friend invites. Sometimes, getting stuff off your chest to random people on the internet can be a doggone good safety valve. I’ve got several friends who do it, whether it some mischief the dogs have done, coworkers, kids etc. I know for me just writing it down makes me feel better. I may reread it and not even ultimately hit “send”.
Please know, Even though there’s a message box on the friend request, don’t bother to type anything in it. Due to the pornbots, you now have to actually be accepted as a friend before anyone can see your message, even on the friend request.1 -

I don’t think OP is a troll. He or she is genuinely concerned, trying, if floundering around a bit, based on their other posts. At least they have enough common sense to ask for help. Lots of folks are too shy or have too big a stick up their bee-hind to ask for help.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to go on a group of strangers and ask questions about something as deeply personal as your weight?
I’m also going to hazard a guess that either English is not their first language, or, like my disabled mother, they struggle with typing on a phone sized keyboard and it’s too time consuming and difficult to correct as long as the jist of the question is clear.
Please don’t assume folks are trolls until they exhibit troll behavior. This ain’t it, imho.6 -

OP, I lost 50 pounds over about 18 months, and my weight loss chart looks exactly like the one above. If you're feeling defeated about not seeing progress on a daily basis, it might be more helpful to weight yourself once a week so you see less variation due to water retention and release. Your chart will still look jagged, but may show a more pronounced downward trend.0
