I’m also so looking forward to fall and it being cooler
I have been exercising inside(with AC) with the switch game Ring Fit Adventure, which really is a good workout, it’s built up my stamina and helped my flexibility a bit. It was only 70degrees out after I got of work yesterday and I got to walk outside for the first time in a long time. For me it’s more enjoyable to walk outside, its fun to see the various creatures, it goes faster, and have hills on my route makes me work different muscles than walking in place in my room.
Today is my shopping day, I normally only go once every other week. In the past I always stopped at a food cart or two for lunch/dinner and to have food for the next day to heat up as well. Support local business right? While nummy the calories and sodium in the food is sad and have been trying to break the habit, or at least get less. Am really craving a slice of Pizza and/or Hawaiian food. Getting either will probably put me over my calorie goal today but the urge is strong and will probably get one of them7 -

Check In.....2 days late🙄
SW 162 Jan 11/21
GW 145 Oct 31/21
TW 151.8 Aug 18/21
Down a couple pounds, which is great but I'm afraid it is due to a bout of insomnia culminating in migraines Monday & Tuesday.
Much needed re-set is my goal for the rest of this week and ongoing.
1)Some de- stressing self care is #1 priority!!
2)Regular healthy meals with lots of leafy greens and fruit, with proteins and good fats.
3)Sometype of exercise everyday even if only walking, for 30mins.
Have a wonderful, rest of the week everyone😊

Back at work which means lots of treats around. I split a donut with my friend. I had sushi for lunch. I made a healthy dinner tonight instead of take out. I got 12,500 steps today. Little things hopefully will make a difference. Love your stories.9

I finished my 6 week step bet challenge. It's a walking challenge on this app I use; you have to walk a certain number of steps. My goal (that they set) was over 10,500 each day. Anyway, I got an email that said "Congrats you walked 559,587 steps these past six weeks". I met my goals. Earned a little extra money (they reward you).8

Hi! I want to lose 15 ponds.
26 y.o. female, 165 lbs.
Haven't exercised for years. Want to concentrate on running and youtube exercise videos.6 -
@rnc52012 Honestly, my aunt's comments don't bother me. My mother (her sister) is blunt too so I am totally used to it. I consider it a gift sort of as I have always had thick skin and don't crumble at criticism. Anyway, I am definitely back on track. Went out to dinner with my brother in law and husband last night. They both had 2 beers each, big dinners and dessert. I had seltzer with a splash of cranberry, a salad and a side of mac and cheese of which I only ate about 1/4. The rest I took home. I was happy to be the designated driver. Cutting alcohol out is part of my weight loss and personal journey as well. For me, no good comes from indulging in that.

Doing well. Keeping my calories at 1200 or under. Carbs at 15+/- 3. No hunger or cravings. Walking 5 miles 3x/week on my days off.
Today (8/22) its raining (and going to most of the day) so I dusted off my Elliptical, I haven't used since I broke my leg really bad in 10/15. Put on a TV show and did 72 minutes. I was sweating and exhausted but I did it! That time was picked as that is usually how long my first walk takes and is 3.4 miles. Elliptical said I was at 4.6 mph and did 5.5 miles!
I have a question. How accurate is MFP with the exercises? It said I burned 1001 calories! Usually I burn about 530 with my 5 mile, 3x/so walk total. Granted I was more tired than my 3-3.5 mph walks, but I was surprised at that number. I know its based on my daily weight.
Just wondering what others think, if it's pretty accurate.6
