I'm in. I'm Chris. I live in northern California.
71 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
I am a walker 4 or 5 days a week 5 mile journeys. Dun...dun...dun...July 30th I tripped on the sidewalk and face-planted hard. My knee is angry, and I sprained my ankle. Everything is slowly getting better, but I am pretty much chair bound for a while.

2019 SW: 245 BMI 43.4 (1/2/2019) Lost 15 lbs in 2019 then regained 5
2020 SW: 235 BMI 41.6 (1/1/2020) Then back up to 241 before refocusing in Aug
2021 SW: 212 BMI 37.6 (1/1/2021)
UGW: 165 BMI 29.2 Overweight NOT Obese
Exercise: I walk my dog 6-7 days per week targeting 100 miles walking each month. I've joined a strength training class that uses light weights, repetitions, lunges, squats, planks, etc. I have an indoor bike that I use once or twice each week ... should hop on it more often. And I swim laps in a olympic size pool once per week (luckily it is heated so hoping to continue this winter).
Foodwise: Reminding myself ... when I'm losing my calories are less than 1500 (not including what I burn exercising) and my net carbs are below 100. Otherwise I stall or gain.

A bit about me, I'm 28 yo F, live in Houston currently but will be moving to NYC soon. I lost about 60 lbs last year, but since winter relaxed way too much and gained 12 lbs back 🤷🏻♀️
My goal now is to lose about 27 lbs, if possible, and if course stay active, maintain good life-work balance 😊
It's going to be a little challenging, as I have a lot going on right now, but I hope this group will help me with much needed inspiration and motivation 🤞

I feel like I am losing weight too slowly even though my diet and exercise are on point 80% can anybody guide me on that as I am new here I wish to reach 150lbs by end of November 2021

Hi, I am glad to be back and have made good progress since joining this accountability group in April.
I have stagnated a bit over the past two months but im thankful that I managed to maintain the weight loss despite the challenges.
This is also my birthday month so would also like to challenge myself to actually lose 2.5kg this month....

Hello again, friends! I am a 44 year-old, 5'4 female who is a two-time cancer survivor and has been dealing with chemo-induced menopause and Hypothyroidism. I am just going to have to accept that I am prone to injury and illness, going from a hip injury to a knee injury, and now having plantar fascitis. I had a nasty virus for two months this past summer as well. I did not have enough in me this summer to take care of the house and my kids after being sick and trying to geg back on track. I succumbed to my over-eating tendencies and making quick meals full of carbs, which made the family happy, but did not help my waistline. With the school year starting back up, I am hopeful that I can start some new healthy habits with my preschooler. My daughter's sports team needed more coaches to help, so I have volunteered to assist. What a great way to force myself to get out there and be more active! Lol! Wishing everyone a successful September!

09/01 – 182.8 (Trend Weight: 187.8) I find this weight hard to believe today. 4 pound loss overnight??? (After a 2.4 loss the day before???) My scale is reliable and I stepped on it 3 times but I don’t trust this and consider it a fluctuation. I did everything right. I had TM. I finally slept over 4 and ½ hours which is good for me> But that is a bit much. Traveling today and tomorrow. Plenty of sitting and restaurant food. I’ll be home each night and will keep up with the posts. Friday morning my scale reading will not be pretty but that is how I roll.

I take my waist measurement at the widest place around the love handles/below the belly button. I also do periodic skinfold tests to check my % fat loss, since that's really my goal rather than just scale weight since that doesn't tell the whole story.
