24 Hours of Exercise per Month Challenge - SEPTEMBER 2021

Here's the 24 hour challenge thread for SEPTEMBER. Let's do it again!! And welcome to any newcomers!

The goal is to accomplish at least 24 hours of exercise during the month.(MORE IS GREAT) Any type of activity that you would log in your diary counts (both cardio and strength training) ~ walking, running, paddling, biking, swimming, gardening, weight training, dancing, HIIT, aerobics, elliptical, rowing, circuit training, stretching, etc. You get the idea.

For you BEASTS out there (you know who you are), if you want to do more, just post your personal goal that is over the baseline challenge goal.

And for anyone who wants to join part of the way through, just post a comparable goal to finish out the month (for example, joining half way through, post a goal of 12 hours).

There is no group for this and no private messages needed. No fancy spreadsheets either, just report your running totals here in the thread.

Happy Exercising!!

Last month's thread is here for examples on how to log your info:

Hi JD, here there are only 3 hours and it is September 01.09 and I have to decide if I will participate to this challenge
Here is the raw truth -
    - I have participated only at one challenge when I was a kid on mfp and renounce at it in the middle
    - I cannot compare with u guys, what I do? I walk my dog, I dance a yt clip and I do an elliptical ? If I compare with what others do , I am like a pixel on this screen, almost invisible
    - I have a freaking program like today I can do one hour tomorrow I work till 23 pm, so how I will cope? Yes I know there are minutes ,hours added but just for u to see my limits
    - I am afraid to disappoint , I know you will say you can disappoint only yourself, but u know it is not true, cause everyone wants to do things in a great way
    - That been said 24 hours means around 50 min per day , I will not be able to do this Coach, even if my brain say like 'do it'

What I can try is to do more than I do now, and see at the end of month what I did in hours and try next month to be better
12 hours means less than I do now , so I guess it will be more
So I will try my olympic personal best this month
If you think I can go to this challenge ,I ll start counting from tomorrow

Sorry that I talk so much, only sometimes, sometimes people pray that I say something
But this time I wanted to say what I can and what i can't and that really I want to be in, if this is ok

    Just do your best.

    15 min's = .25 of an hour, etc

    So a 30 min walk would be .5 / 24

Log as you go. You'd be surprised that 24 isn't that hard to achieve, or shoot for 12 first then work your way up.

No comparison needed, we are all on our own journeys together!
