Just starting again. 5 lbs and 3x a week exercise for September is my first mini goal. October will set a new goal.13

Run the 5k in October with my 9 year old daughter and feel good about it.12

General:
I want to wear 30-inch-waist jeans.
Not there yet.
Daily:
Walk 9 miles.
Some days I come close.
I've exceeded it twice. Good days!13 -
Hoping to have my average weight for September be under 80kg, and ideally reach healthy BMI at 77kg.
Weighed 79 kg this morning, slow and steady does it…11 -
240 as a goal on my home scale. It would be nice to have that show on my doctor's scale, which means 235, by early October, but I don't think that's realistic. I was 241 this morning....
Also to be able to do ten minutes on the bike. I have exercise intolerance so I have to work up to it every single day.12 -
My mini-goal is to lose the next 5 pounds and reach the weight I was before I had my youngest child - who is now 28 years old. It'll be the first time I've been that weight since he was born!12

I was overweight to begin with, but the last 5 months have been extremely challenging for my home and work life and I ate my feelings and gained an additional 35 lbs. First goal complete - Decided to join MyFitnessPal and take control of my life and my weight. Second goal is to lose 30 lbs by NYE.16

I’m 2 pounds away from reaching my current mini goal, which is to have lost 225 pounds. Right now I weigh 227 pounds. I started out weighing 450 pounds, so that will be half of my body weight! A whole person! And a big one too! I’m going to buy myself a new dress to celebrate!

Working my way through the incline pushup process. Started at the wall, now can do 4 at surfaces about mid thigh for me. Mini goal is to up the number of pushups to 20 in a row. Long goal is to be able to do standard pushups. Also, if I can get below 228 pounds this month, I've been eyeing a pair of boots that I just might buy.10

Being able to fit in the brand new ski equipment i bought last year!
After losing my mother to covid-19, I've struggled to manage my diet and exercise. It's time to get it together again, for the love of fresh powder!19 -
To be down at least 6 pounds by the last weekend in September when I'll be meeting up with my group of friends from high school who I've not seen since Feb 2020, just before the pandemic got "real".
That way, even though I've still got a long way to go, I'll only be a few pounds heavier than I was pre-pandemic.
If by some miracle I could manage to lose 13 pounds then I'll be exactly how I was when they last saw me but I'm not putting that pressure on myself as I want to take it slowly.9 -
By Sept 30th to lose 10 pounds of this 34 pound regain. I would love to be able to say again I lost more weight than I weigh. Having come from 497, In 2018 I had finally gotten down to 217, had 4 excess removals surgeries, 2 of them with complications, the last in 2019, then Covid, working from home, etc. I had regained. Am finally heading back to work and need to get back down again and keep on going to my goal. Being mobility challenged I lose very slowly. Sure could use support from others. Maybe we can support each other.10

Wow - congratulations - somehow, in my mind, the math supports you buying yourself two new dresses!7 -
I am down from 70.3 to 66.8 kgs. I am now in normal BMI. Still need to lose some kgs, while adding some muscle. I am very close to 5% down, which is a nice thing, may happen in a couple of days (only need 0.1 kg down for this).
However, my true minigoal is to reach my first goal - to get below 66 kgs. I think this may be doable in two weeks.
Also, in 18 days, I will do a race, "only" 3.8kms/2.4 miles, but it is a long race for me. I very recently started slow running short distances, and I do hope to run most of the race. I know it is a hilly route and I will allow myself to walk uphill, but I hope to finish below 30 minutes.
The race is in three days. Today I ran approximately that distance, it felt great, I was able to run the full distance, without any walking. So the minigoal here is to run the full length of the race, even though it may be very slow.
I am also below 66 kgs, was 65.7 this morning, and have now been below 66 most mornings the last week.
My next mini goal is to get below 65.3, then I have lost 5 kgs from my start, and have around 10 kgs left (10.3 to the dream goal).

I hit my last mini goal of losing half my body weight (225 pounds) today, so it’s on to the next one, which isn’t really a mini goal, it’s actually a Major goal, but it’s mini in size, so I’m going to count it 😁. I need to get down to 209 to qualify with my plastic surgeon to start the process of getting prior authorization for a panniculectomy. I’ve qualified with my insurance for years, but my surgeon wants 16 more pounds. I think I can manage that by Christmas at the latest! What a great Christmas present to myself!29

Congrats! I'm interested in how you feel overall. Do you notice a drastic improvement in your joints or back? This is an area I have a lot of pain in.5 -
Wow, so many motivating and inspirational success stories!! I'm back in to lose what I gained...I was so close to my weight goal...It's ok, I can do it again, 1lb at a time!!
I mostly want to feel good again, less joint pain caused by inflammation and pressure etc... Good luck to all!10 -
My mini goal right now is really simple: Get down into the 270's. I'm just about 1.5 lbs away from that. I should hit it next week, hopefully.13
-
I'm looking forward to being able to do 10 push-ups in a row. I can do 7 now and then I break, and 10 is my next mini goal.16
-
The first digit of my weight should change in a week or so, and soon I'll be 90% the man I used to be. Still early days, but progress!26
-
Get down to 109kg by my birthday, then eat a kilo worth of treats :-)8
-
Changing my eating and exercise habits before gastric bypass.16
